"We could not be happier with the work done at our house in Severna Park March-July 2018 by Brightview Builders. After our phase one family room renovation (new floor/widow, remove walls, install gas fireplace) was completed on time, on budget and expertly, we hired Brightview for phase two - a full kitchen renovation. Every step was coordinated perfectly and communication was daily via phone calls and texts from our project manager Darell. Brightview worked with our kitchen designer to execute her plan flawlessly. The city inspector requires a letter from the project engineer verifying that the work is safe, sound, and compliant with code. 58 Foundations flat-out refuses to provide this basic validation of their work. Why won’t they stand behind their project? Are they hiding shoddy, substandard work? As a homeowner, I’m now saddled with the mess of an open permit and no resolution in sight. This is unacceptable. If a company won’t back their work with a simple letter, what does that say about their integrity—or lack thereof? Didn't expect this kind of run around from a well established professional firm, save yourself the frustration and inevitable regret. Choose a company that honors their commitments and respects their customers. Once upon a time, 58 Foundations may have been reputable, but their crumbling standards are now painfully obvious.
