"DMV Kitchen and Bath RECOMMENDATION 2023 March In December 2022-January 2023, DMV Kitchen and Bath completely gutted and rebuilt 2 bathrooms for me (foundation, pipes, electric – everything). In addition, they restored several 110 year-old door transoms, installed new doors (5 panel solid wood) throughout the house, upgraded some woodwork, installed two pocket doors, and painted a few rooms. We used high quality materials throughout, not builder-grade. This is the third time I’ve asked DMV Kitchen and Bath to do a major renovation in one of my properties over the last 10 years. He was very thorough and provided all of the information we needed about how it would be installed. For accessibility, we decided to have a folding seat and two grab bars installed in the shower. Once all of the parts were delivered to Mako, the install itself took less than a day. The installers, Kevin and Riley, did a fantastic job and we are extremely pleased with the new shower and flooring. When my shower wall turned out to be deeper than expected after taking out the tile, I had to get a new shower base. They covered return shipping of the current base for me, since they approved it. They found a new shower base and even picked it up from Home Depot. Then Alexis discovered that our plumbing was misaligned for the new shower base. Luis and his crew were able to start the project 2 weeks after giving the estimate. Their work came with a 1 year labor warranty and 3 year waterproofing warranty.
