BEWARE!!! Jackie (Jack) McFee and Jake Stewart both claim to be a business/ family men, butter you up with all lies only to hold on to your hard earned money. Paid deposit of $4100 and it?s yet to be returned. This company should be investigated for fraudulent activities. They lack professionalism, integrity, and basic human decency. I?ve called, emailed, texted, been behind patient considering, I signed the release for my deposit to be returned back August 2025. I was even willing to work out a payment arrangement in good faith and still got the short end of the stick. My last attempt in communication to receive refund, Jackie sent a fake FedEX shipping sticker stating that he mailed out my deposit. Called the company and that was a complete lie!! I?ve filed a complaint with BBB and consumer protection agency as first steps. I will not rest until I get what I am owed. Shame on you both for taking advantage of local consumers!!!

Arrived on time and performed the work as described. They have knowledgeable workers that seem to enjoy their trade. Chris was very outgoing and informative.

Don't hire! Not room here for all my complaints! Some poor work & no customer service! Hired for deck repairs, pour new concrete patio & driveway. Part of job didn't adhere to contract: deck posts not finished 4 inches above grade (photo), not enough control joints in patio. Otherwise patio OK. Side of driveway has spot that looks terrible where concrete didn't fill in properly (photos), otherwise OK. Deck stair job substandard. Gaps between new stringers & landing (photo). Inspector wanted a fix to stringers. Jake said they'd fix. Never did so I had to do it! Worker told me they wouldn't fix it because East Coast hadn't paid them anything for the entire job. Workers are immigrants. I've learned wage theft is common in construction industry in Maryland with immigrants among those most affected. Jake told me they would make fixes to driveway and big ruts they put in my lawn, but they've been putting me off for over 2 months. Jake keeps telling me he'll call me at X time but doesn't.

Fast response, fantastic results, and they had the job done in one day. Before leaving they checked to make sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing concrete work done.

I hired East Coast Concrete LLC for a patio, wider sidewalks, a new driveway, and hedge tree removal. While the initial estimate process was smooth, the project quickly became frustrating. The company lost access to my contract and I had to repeatedly remind them of the agreed-upon work. The internet/cable lines were unnecessarily encased in concrete. The driveway was installed six inches higher than expected, leaving a recessed water main access that collects water and is now sealed shut. Concrete splatter is on my front door, side door, house siding and sidewalks. Despite multiple requests, I never received an invoice or contract after final payment. Communication was poor, and several aspects of the job were incomplete or ignored. I cannot recommend this company and strongly advise anyone considering them to get everything in writing up front and monitor the work closely.

Let me tell you, Jack and Jake are great customer service men for this company! They explained the job every step of the way. I couldn’t be more happy with the results. The cost was reasonable and the job was done in the timeframe that they stated. They did the clean up and put everything back as it should be. Pictures are coming soon.

It was a rocky start to the repair of our outside basement stairwell wall. The team of guys who showed up didn't do the repair job as contracted. Then they left without notifying me they were done so I could inspect the job. We contacted East Coast Concrete with pictures and a list of items not completed correctly. They immediately contacted us to discuss our concerns. The next day another team came and not only corrected the issues but went an extra mile to ensure we were happy. They took their time, explained each step and gave reasons. They even power washed our steps. Memo and his team were professional, courteous and very knowledgeable . Came out on May 3 and gave me an estimate and took 2580.00 as a down payment said would start in two weeks. I let him know i had picked out a block i wanted to use by the 2nd week. Never asked me to send him what i wanted. Got a text on May 11 saying they didn't forget me was working on the schedules. Next text was May 23 saying they would be there tomorrow. Got a text on the 24th asking for the address again. Took a credit card payment for 2610.00 on the 24th of May without me authorizing it. Came and demoed on the 24th. I can't remember exactly but they either dropped off the block then or they brought the wrong block on May 27th went they came back, either way, as soon as i seen that wrong block i call them and told them and they said they would come get it and bring the block i wanted. On Saturday May 31 i looked at what they did so far and i noticed it was started in the wrong place and wasn't in an arch the way we agreed on may 3rd.They yes he was aware of that and would get that straight. Also they rebuilt two piers in the front and we agreed on building the mailbox into one of the piers. i called and told him there was no mailbox in the pier. At first he said they would rebuild it with a mailbox then text me on May 31 that they could not find a mailbox that would fit the size pier they built. I told them i worked in a shop and i could have one build any size we need.Did not hear from them again until June 18th when i disputed one of the charges with my credit card. They then told me they would be out the next day to pick up the wrong block and bring the block i picked out.I reversed my dispute with the credit car company. They never showed up on june 19th, never called, nothing. Then he says he can't get block until money was back in their account and says i'm on the schedule to be finished this weekend. Never showed up, never called, They said it will 30 days to get their payment back and wanted me to pay again. I told them i wasn't paying anymore until they come get this wrong block and bring what i picked out. Did hear from them again until August 17th when i placed a review on Yelp. Now he tells me he will be there by the end of the week,i'm on the schedule.Told me again picking block up tomorrow. Didn't show up ,no call. Text me on August 19th saying guys are scheduled to come tomorrow, no one showed up. i call again on August 20th they text they will be out tomorrow to pick up block and refund my money if i take down the review and go our own way. Text me on the 21st said they had an emergency and would be out tomorrow. No one showed up and haven't heard from them since and today is August 26th.

The guys were here on time. After easily straightening out a small contact issue they got right to work. My sidewalk looks fabulous. They completed it in a very timely matter. Jake ?? was very friendly kind n respectful. I believe the cost was appropriate and fair. It was funny seeing a huge cement truck in front of my house. Thank you for working with me to have my sidewalk completed.

The job was done successfully. My house looked crooked because of the front step settling. The crew east coast sent out fixed that with new concrete top steps and slightly sloping sidewalk pads. The original step was 10" high and east coast lowered the step. They left no sight of any materials, they cleaned up.

They did a great job and I would hire them again

The contractor made it possible to complete the entire remainder of the project by the end of the day. Everything looks great. My wife is very pleased, as well. A very PROfessional job in appearance & execution.

They efficiently completed an install of a small parking pad plus a side project of repointing some brick for a fair price.

East Coast Concrete LLC has serious difficulty communicating with customers and completing the job. I hired them to install 2 patios and demo a portion of my back porch. I have reached out several times via text, for Jack to come look at cracks in the stamped concrete and foundation. A gloss sealer was supposted be applied, but was not. I was texted twice by Jack that he would stop by. Never happened. I filed a complaint to BBB, through which we communicated. His response to the complaint was, "We weren't aware of the customers concern." I responded with screen shots of the texts I sent to Jack showing communication between us. Jack's response stated the number in the complaint was not his. He provided the number to me the day I signed the contract. I am 4 months into a 12 month warranty with no resolution. All I want is a refund for the cost of the sealer. My next step is to contact my lawyer. Look elsewhere for a company with better communication and work ethic.

East Coast Concrete did an exceptional job on demo and replacing my walkway and front porch. This was not a small job with almost 500 square feet of demo and replacing. The job was started quickly after signing a contract and was completed in two days. The work and effort done with Jake, the estimator, Jack the onsite supervisor and East Coast Concrete crew was great. I can highly recommend East Coast Concrete.

I hired East Coast concrete to repair a concrete slab in my backyard as well as cracks around the entire perimeter of my exterior walls. These guys did a superb job! They completely waterproofed my exterior walls and repainted everything. Everything looks brand new and I'm completely confident that it will hold up well with this crazy Maryland weather. I would definitely recommend them to any of my neighbors or anyone who needs concrete work.

Grossly over promise and grossly under delivered .They will never get it. Another contract for me, and I'll do everything I can to tell everybody else that this should be the last person to go to. They weren't very responsive. They weren't very professional. One of the diets that worked there had very rude comments. They required a check before starting the project, and then when they came back, they wanted another check and then still didn't start. It said they were looking for material so the company, um? To me, it wasn't very professional or customer focused. The people that they sent out here were abrasive. They were Kurt. And very condescending me when I told him I was going to call the Maryland Home Improvement commission. Finally, they sent another person out here, and his name was Jake. Jake told us that he would have the project completed by the end of the That was last week, didn't call, nor did it come? We told them when we had when we started with the project and we had two events coming up that we wanted to use the deck. We wound up having to do the first event inside the second event, they said. 70, ask them would they have it completed by four o'clock on Friday? They said yes, it's four o'clock or five o'clock on Thursday.I called, and I said the project isn't completed. And the smart, elegant Mark I received, well, it ain't Friday here. And people were here at the house while they were quoted finishing the project and the project was still interesting. And it's more of a safety hazard now than before they got it. Project. It's like at least our death was safe when they came aboard, it's not even safe. Now, my partner fell down the steps and had to go to urgent care. So he's got two stitches in his hands from falling down the stairs, and he has a brace for his wrist. And he has to go back to Orthopedics for them to check again. Thank God it wasn't a lizard.

Because these guys, Jake and Jack, are so conscientious, they came over and installed my bay window AC to hold me until they install the new bay window, which is on order. I know of no other contractor who would take an hour out of a Sunday to come help an older client out like that. Now I'm not sweltering anymore. These guys are good, and they have a lot of heart.
