"This was a huge job. A complete basement waterproofing - new internal drains installed and two new sump pumps installed. The guys were great - came on time worked hard all day and cleaned up after themselves. The only negative was at the completion of work when it was time to pay the amount was less than what was originally quoted. I told the guy that and he insisted that it was what he had. I even showed him the quote on paper. I paid it - glad it was less, but a few days later got a call from the office telling me I needed to pay another $1600 (the difference between the original quoted price and at the time of service price) I told her what the guy told me and she got a little rude saying "well you knew what the quoted price was" - yeah I DID know and was prepared to pay but after install HER guy insisted it was the price he had. I wasn't trying to get out of paying but the confusion on how much it costs was with the people working there. I didn't appreciate her attitude as if I was trying to skimp out of paying. Nevertheless, I ended up with this additional payment. However, the work is supposed to be guaranteed for life. No complaints there."

From the first phone conversation with Tina Reaves (production manager) who scheduled our free estimate, to the estimate appointment with Tim Schlegel (inspector), to the day the work was completed by Jordan (lead technician) and Nate (assistant technician) the experience was a pleasant one. He allowed us a few days to make our decision just as we told him that we need and he wasn't pushy with the follow up, but still kept in touch. His personality, attitude and sales tactics were a huge selling factor in the reason that we selected this company. We also loved the idea that the company and the owner were local to our area and that the own was a preacher. They also have an excellent warranty that covers the life of the structure making it comforting to know that the warranty can transfer through multiple owners without any "fine print" snags. They originally had the next available install date about 30 days from the day we received the estimate. Due to our busy life schedule, a honeymoon, and the upcoming cold weather we were in a time crunch and requested to have it done in 2 weeks. Tim and Tina made some calls and made it happen, again helping us out big time. The week before the install we were out of the country on our Honeymoon and I communicated with Tina asking that she reach out to my Mom in the event of any last minute changes, she made a note on the account and everything went smoothly. The install crew arrived on time and the lead Jordan was excellent at communicating with me from the time that they arrived to the house, to excellent detailed description of what they we actually doing as they performed the work, to the time they took a brief lunch break and the follow up the following day when he had to return to finish the drain outside. They were both very courteous, they worked very hard all day, they were easy to talk to and maintained a very clean work environment both inside and outside of my home as they completed this project. The company also offers a financing option of up to 6 months with 0% interest which was very appealing to help us pay off this project in a timely manner without racking up another high interest home project credit card. From start to finish we couldn't be happier. Now 5 days post install I am happy to report that our system is operating properly and it was well worth the money (a very competitive price I might add) to have the piece of mind to know that we received quality workmanship and to no longer have the fear of further expensive water damage or cringing every time that it rains. "We have been working with Affordable for a couple of years now. To put it lightly, we have the basement from hell. When they arrived, we had some water in the basement and they quoted us based on their normal pricing. Once the concrete came up, we couldn't believe what we were dealing with. It is a constant flow of water that required two sump pits and an insane amount of work to install our drainage system. Every time they tried to dig a pit it would backfill with sand and water- they had to dig this up painstakingly- foot by foot. We thought for sure we were in for additional costs, but they stuck by the original estimate. Since then, any time we have had an issue or a question, they are quick to answer. Poor Kelly and Bobby probably recognize our number on the caller ID but whenever we make a call or send an email, we always get a response- usually with a visit on the same day.
