They were able to design our basement just as I had envisioned it. The remodel was quick and painless, and the project manager was always available to answer our questions during the remodel. The materials used are great and I am not worried about molding in our basement because of that. We also enjoy that you can take the walls apart as we hid an unsightly oil tank behind one of the walls and we will be able to access it one day when it needs replacement. Our basement is now our favorite place to hang out in the house. I would and have recommended Lux Renovations to all my friends and family in need of a basement remodel!"

"We actually hired J Hoss for two jobs, and they did a great job with both! Both were tricky operations involving the plumbing of an old beach house, and they came up with effective ways of dealing with every issue. The hot water heater install involved moving an old hot water heater out of a crawlspace and putting a new one in in a closet, and the plumbing lines were a bit wacky due to the way the cottage had been added onto over time. But they solved the problems without tearing out any walls, which was great. The other job involved a DIY project installing a bathroom vanity that we got halfway through before realizing we were over our heads. They were game and jumped right in and worked with us to complete the job. We loved how they collaborated with us and were so cheerful about our amateur efforts! Definitely will hire again."
