"Sean (and his wife Melissa and his assistant Ben)...all extremely professional, courteous, very timely....and just downright friendly! Regarding the "timely" comment.....I had to reschedule due to family conflict----Sean and Melissa both outstanding in responding and communicating with me. I now have an Electrician that I can depend on!"

"Very satisfied! There was a storm brewing during the timeframe they were supposed to come out. Called and said we needed to reschedule. Was quickly resceduled to an agreeable time and day a couple of days away. They came out promptly and took care of the repalcements. We had the lights for them to install. All went well and would definitely use them again."

"It went very well. Two rooms needed new lines for overhead lighting, wiring replaced to the porch (which actually was in a very dangerous condition) and did a fair bit of work on our electrical box. Hoping to have him back in a bit to replace more and put in a new ceiling fan for the kitchen."

Lighting questions, answered by experts

Inspect for burnt-out bulbs, secure connections, and protect from water exposure to maintain functionality.

Costs depend on system type, issue severity, and labor rates.

The easiest and best way to power your outdoor lights is with the use of outdoor outlets. Most building codes now require exterior outlets in homes, so you likely already have outdoor outlets available to plug into. However, you can have these outlets installed if your space doesn’t currently include them.

The five common types of landscape lighting are up-lighting, down-lighting, spotlights, built-in lighting, and pathway lighting.

  • Up-lighting casts light upwards from the ground, mostly for aesthetic purposes.

  • Down-lighting directs light onto the ground, lighting pathways, or outdoor space.

  • Spotlights cast direct, focused lighting in any direction.

  • Built-in lighting integrates lighting into an outdoor feature.

  • Pathway lighting illuminates walkways, increasing safety.

Table lamps, floor lamps, chandeliers, desk lamps, and antique or decorative light fixtures that hold sentimental or aesthetic value are commonly repaired.
