"Gary is very pleasant and professional to work with. Communication is great, pricing is fair and the quality of his work is top notch. The project he completed for me was taping/finishing the drywall in my 1500 sq ft 3 bedroom apartment with 9' ceilings. Opt for materials specifically designed for basement environments, like moisture-resistant drywall or cement board. You may need to replace drywall because of smoke damage. If the drywall is covered in soot, you may be able to clean it, but it will require a lot of time and effort.
