Peter outlined the five step approach that included sanding, caulking with geoseal caulk, covering each knot with shellac, filling popped out knots and priming with oil based primer followed by spraying with two coats of Benjamin Moore Advance alkyd satin finish topcoat. 10 working days to complete with two and three man crews on various days. This is my second job with Peter and I have been pleased both times. They are punctual, professional, and clean.

Peter and his crew were very professional. Always returned phone calls and left my house clean every time. They repaired cracks and patched holes where ever needed. They did a beautiful job! They even finished ahead of schedule. I would hire Cape Way Painting again.

After finding the link on Angie’s List, I used Cape Way Painting website to request an estimate for storm damage to house. Peter called the next day to set up a time to meet. The estimate came later that same day. The work requested was completed within the week. Wind and tree limbs near the wires had torn a portion of the trim off the side of the house along with the wires. The trim under the roof shingles that had been torn off was reattached, prepared, and painted. It looked great, as if no damage had been done. Peter was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable and I would definitely call him again.

Peter, the owner, was very organized and responsive. He gave a detailed estimate and made adjustments to the estimate when we had to make changes to fit our budget. Mark and Mark, the painters, were very friendly and did an excellent job painting the rooms and making the drywall repairs. It was very convenient and worked out very well to have Cape Way do both the painting and drywall repair.

Excellent! The initial consult was timely and informative. The cost was about what was quoted, considering that there was some additional work involved, not unexpectedly. The peeling coatings were removed, sanded and primed with oil based primer. The finish acrylic coat was applied carefully. The work was neat and professional. The workers worked well together, cleaned up every night and left the job in a clean, neat condition. They also problem solved well. After consulting with Peter about the peeling, he advised replacing the gutters with larger gutters (a different vendor) to cut down on the moisture. This, coupled with careful surface preparation, has resulted in a much better adhesion of the coatings. We have had them back for "touch up" as is required almost yearly with a house in the woods.  Peter and his workers have always been a pleasure to do business with.

Peter and his team are professional, punctual, skilled, and pleasant to work with. Very highly recommended and would definitely use again. The job looks terrific!

Peter was very easy to work with. He was prompt and professional. He was in close communication about scheduling and completing the work. 
The job included some carpentry to replace rotten wood before painting,which he was able to do.
The work his team did was excellent. They were efficient, did beautiful work,and cleaned up after the job was done. 

Overall this was a museum-quality paint job. Really the best I have ever seen. The workers are meticulous, skilled and very professional, not to mention likable too.

They did a high quality and fantastic looking job.

In the first place, Peter has a good personality and is great with communicating about the job. Then, again in the beginning, every job I have hired them for, Peter is just fantastic about helping me select colors. He has the artist's feel for color and, together with his good taste and understanding of my tastes, we always come up with something wonderful. Keep in mind that although my tastes stay more towards neutral, he has had me put some lovely color on the wall. And in the case of this kitchen job, once again, that color sense of his worked wonders. The finished project color combination, trim and wall, are, while still neutral, a step above and continue to delight my eye.

The crew members are personable and professional. They work very hard and they take care of your property.  They have done many jobs here at my house both interior and exterior. The finished product has always, in my experience, been flawless. Technique and technical details, I don't really know those things, but I do know that every time I have hired them, my walls are, again, flawless and finished nicely.

In this most recent job, too, they did paint the ceilings and they look just great. In a previous job at my house, Peter and his crew were able to do some creative solutions to touch up the ceilings, a lot, and then blend it all in so that the ceilings, which overall were still in good shape, did not have to be completely repainted. That was something my husband and I really appreciated.

Peter and his crew have even done small repairs, carpentry and mechanical, that would have been troublesome to get a professional in to fix because they were too small. That, too, we really appreciated.

So, as for the most recent job, my kitchen project, overall Capeway Painters were outstanding.

They were very prompt and moved necessary furniture and covered carpet and other floors. The crew was very polite and neat in their workmanship. They cleaned and vacuumed upon completion.

We were very pleased with the outcome.

It was good and we were very satisfied.  They were professional.  They came and did what we asked them to do, and left, which was fine.  They cleaned up after themselves. They were great.  My husband paid for it so I don’t know about their price but I am sure it was reasonable.  They used topnotch products and did a fabulous job.  They were tight on time.
