"Tenant's child lodged a foreign object (among other things) in the toilet. Rob came out quickly, and diligently snaked the drain, eventually removing the toy. Spent at least 10 mins before it budged, but Rob was determined to retrieve the object."

"Monday morning began with the dreaded task of finding a local plumber to unclog toilet drain. No sooner had I requested a plumber, Jeff responded right away and was here within half hour. After trying to unclog the toilet, it became apparent that there was a bigger problem. He took the lids off the septic tank and the tank was about to overflow, the filter was clogged. And I had the tank pumped just three months ago. So that's a mystery. But I am so happy Jeff took care of it for a very reasonable cost. He's my new go to plumber, and I would highly recommend him."

Highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work with great customer service!"

"I was pleased with how quickly the job got done. I don't know about he quality of work because I am not a plumber and don't live where the repaired toilet is, but from what I can tell, I have no complaints."

"I needed a slop sink plumbed into my basement. Dennis, the owner, was on time, very efficient, and done very quickly. He cleaned up the limited mess that was made. And I believe his pricing was very reasonable. I'd be happy to hire him again."

"Called them up for replacing my cracked sewage pipe in the basement. They came out, gave a free estimate with reasonable pricing and immediate availability. Did a courtesy camera scope of the entire sewage pipe out to the city line while the pipes were open. Finished work within estimated window and charged at the original estimated price. Polite and clear with communication."

Customers say: Super punctual

"Very well! Super courteous gentleman (Pedro). I scheduled the appointment on Friday and they were planning to come on Monday. I never heard from them but apparently a communication problem. So I was a bit disappointed and skeptical. Today they were on top of their game and Pedro fixed the issue very quickly. Very kind to talk to as well. Thanks for your great work."

"Went extremely well. Jeff told me the options and talked me through each of them. Once decision was made, he scheduled everything and was done within a week. Removed old oil burner and tank. Installed new Rinnai combi unit, so now there was more room in basement for my clutter. He went above and beyond. Did such a good job, we hired him to redo our bathroom and received the same, excellent work. We will be keeping him on our speed dial for any other work that we will be doing in the future."

Toilets questions, answered by experts

Yes, a toilet, sink, and shower can share the same vent. This is a common installation method that can simplify plumbing and save space. However, there are important considerations. The vent and associated plumbing must be large enough to handle the demands of all fixtures without compromising the vent's effectiveness. Additionally, the toilet should always be located downstream of all other fixtures. Because requirements can vary and space might be limited, it is essential to check your local building and plumbing codes and consult with a qualified plumber to ensure the installation is done correctly.

Yes, you can fill your toilet tank manually to help it flush, or you can pour the water directly into the bowl to flush it manually. This will work for the majority of toilets, as most use a gravity feed system. However, you should only ever use this as a temporary solution. If your toilet tank isn’t filling, you should find out why. First, make sure the speedy valve connected to your toilet and your water main are open. If that doesn’t solve the issue, call in a professional to address the problem.

Replacing a standard toilet with an elongated one is straightforward. The two types can be installed using the same existing drainpipe and plumbing. If you have a small bathroom, make sure that an elongated toilet doesn’t violate local building codes for clearance, which is the space between fixtures and walls.

If you have to hold the toilet handle (also called the toilet lever) down to flush, you probably have a chain problem. A chain that cannot fully lift the flapper will close too early and not clear the toilet bowl. Try adjusting the chain length so there’s about ½ inch of slack.

Most codes require 15 inches on either side of the toilet's centerline (from the wall or vanity) and at least 21 to 24 inches between the toilet and the wall in front of it. These codes ensure that your toilet is easy to use and access, even in small bathrooms. Check your local building codes for the exact measurements required.
