Rob had recently replaced my kitchen and bathroom faucets and I called him to see if he could now replace my gas water heater. I was happily surprised when he said he’d be out within a couple of days and I was REALLY pleased with his estimate. For both jobs, Rob showed up when he said would and was both fast and efficient. He’s a great guy - dependable, reasonable, professional and focused on providing good service to his customers. Rob is my “go to” plumber from now on!

Rob arrived on time (roughly 30 mins early). Work took approx 20 mins, and Rob brought a high quality faucet replacement with him that features a lifetime warranty. Very quick, very thorough.

Tenant's child lodged a foreign object (among other things) in the toilet. Rob came out quickly, and diligently snaked the drain, eventually removing the toy. Spent at least 10 mins before it budged, but Rob was determined to retrieve the object.

Rob was fantastic. i had an 80yr old cast flange finally rot out at one on the slots. Called Rob, a rough estimate was provided and time of arrival established. He was early, well spoken and cleanly dressed. He applied boot covers as it was wet/snowy outside. He replaced the flange and poured a new joint, adding additional support by anchoring the flange to subfloor. This was not done previously but again the house is 80yrs old. We had purchased a new toilet and asked him to replace our old one with the new. This was not part of the scope of work, but he did so without complaining or trying to reschedule. He cleaned the area and it looked as it did when he arrived. Everything looks great! New toilet works great! No more wobbly toilet. Highly recommend his work.

Spoke with Rob via phone, and scheduled a visit. Rob appeared 10 mins early, and telephoned prior. Quickly identified an issue with the automatic water feed not being fed, vs recommending replacement of a working part. Replaced sight glass and flushed system. Replaced the entire water gauge system on secondary system. Cost was reasonable, work performed proficient, parts used seemingly high quality. Rob is very sociable and able to hold a conversation whilst performing work as well. Would highly recommend.

Rob is a man of his word. He provided us a quote for the work to be done to convert from oil to natural gas in a very open and honest way and he honored it fully. His approach is non-BS and he did everything he said in would on the date and within the timeframe he provided upfront. Rob did a great job. We were very happy with the results. He also repaired the faucet in our downstairs bathroom.

Went very well. He was very responsive, came quickly, and was profession and fully prepared for the job. I found that the disposal had a slow leak the night before, called the next morning and described the issue. He fit me in within a few hours and arrived with a replacement disposal in case mine could not be repaired. He showed me how the old one corroded, why it couldn't be fixed and then replaced it. He also checked out another faucet that turned out not to need repair, but was kind enough to clear a partially the sink in the process. The new disposal works great. I would call him again if I have a plumbing issue.

I am reminded again why it is so priceless to find a contractor you can trust to keep things up and running. I managed to break one of the blades in my existing disposal, so I ordered a replacement unit and called Platinum Plumbing to set up an appointment to get it installed. While in the course of emptying the contents of my under-sink cabinets, as Murphy's Law would have it, I discovered evidence of a pretty serious leak. Although the initial appointment was just to replace the disposal, I told Robert about the leak I had discovered, and he quickly diagnosed it as a faulty faucet. Thankfully, he had a gorgeous Kohler faucet & spray attachment in stock in his truck, so he was able to swap out the faulty faucet for a very nice upgraded replacement. He also discovered a serious crack in the original copper pipe feeding out of the sink drain, so he cut the cracked piece out and put in the necessary fittings to get everything back ship-shape and leak-free. As always, Robert did absolutely fantastic work on everything, and cleaned up after he was done -- I almost hate to admit it, but I'm actually looking forward to washing the dishes tonight. The price was absolutely fair for all that he did, as well. I love doing business with Robert -- he always arrives at the promised time, is very friendly and professional, clearly knows his stuff, and shows you what's going on before (and after) he does the work. Highly recommended for any job, big or small!

Really happy with the work. The valves work great, and the faucet is excellent. The only real knock is that the faucet became loose after a week, and it had to be tightened down to the sink. Small oversight.
