"I highly recommend using Scott Curtice for any renovation project no matter how complex it is. We bought a house that was over a hundred years old that had not been renovated for decades. Starting from the planning stage, Scott was wonderful about redesigning the house in order to open up the space and bring it into a more modern look. He spent several sessions reworking his plan always taking into account our needs and desires. Once the actual renovation began, we ran into a number of complex structural issues with the house itself. No matter what obstacle came up, Scott and his team were able to find solutions. His team was efficient in their work and they were all always reliable. In fact, many of our neighbors were astounded that all subcontractors worked on the home daily and that they actually were busy the entire time they were at our house. In addition, the lines of communication between ourselves and Scott, as well as his subcontractors, were always open. "JS is great! He finished the job ahead of schedule, which has never happened to us before with a contractor. He also listened to what we had to say and did his best to accommodate our wishes. He was always very responsive and very pleasant in our communication. I wish we had been shown different options of styles for the floor deck/railing, but to be fair, we never asked him to do so. We told him we preferred a dark brown color and the the floor was lighter than we imagined. This could have been avoided if we saw floor board samples, but, again, we didn't to ask for them so this is a communication glitch which we would be careful to address in the future. Overall, we are very happy with how the deck looks and how quickly it was completed."

"Very well.  I acted as general contractor after my builder disappeared in the middle of the job.  I had some good contractors and some not so good ones.  HS Plastering and Painting was at the top of the good list.  The quality of their work was very good; no complaints there at all.  But what stood out was the experience of working with them.  They came when asked, did what they were asked to do, acted in a professional manner, stood by their work, and were a true pleasure to have as a contractor.  They were quick, worked weekends to get the job done, and didn't cut corners.  
In fact, my realtor liked them so much that she asked for their contact information for other houses that she works on.
