"We are giving one star because zero stars were unavailable! My husband and I received a quote from this company to paint and clear coat our fences. We thought the quote was high but once Seth described the process, we felt it was reasonable, as his process was very labor intensive. It included removing all the old paint from our fences and repainting. Seth said “it was the only way to ensure the job is completed properly.” When he and his partner arrived at our home, they proceeded to perform a process much less labor intensive than what was quoted originally to us. When I questioned him about this he said I misunderstood and they could not take the old paint off the fences. My husband and I thought we were due a credit but that was not to be. So for about two days work, Seth and his partner received $3,200! We may not have minded so much if the work was excellent but it was actually extremely subpar! And when I brought his attention to the poor workmanship Seth said “they would never have left it that way. The wood must have pushed out the sealer.” I have worked as a director of design and construction and facilities for forty years. I have never met such an unprofessional company before. Seth told me he would be sending us a check for $500 for the unprofessional work. That was about ten days ago and still no check. I’m not surprised. I could go on with a similar but worse story regarding our decks but I will end this review by saying that we would never use nor recommend this company to anyone. I recently learned that our neighbor was also very unhappy with the work completed at their home by this company and she would never use them again either. If you decide to use this company, regardless of this terrible review, just beware."

"Gus and his Painting Crew did an excellent job at several of our properties. They are polite and really take good care in what they do. They also did some minor carpentry repairs too. We will have them back for future work."

"Mark was very friendly, professional, responsive and finished the job a timely manner. He gave us a fair estimate and was able to accurately describe the scope of the project up front. We had just bought a 1967 ranch that needed updating and Mark and his team removed some paneling and layers of old painted wallpaper from almost every room in the house, repaired the walls and painted our new house to get it ready for us to move in and make our home. He was also knowledgeable about helping us choose the right paint color and finish. He even stood by his work and helped us fix a snafu weeks later in the bathroom due us not having a working fan. I highly recommend Color Concepts."
