Excellent job, fair price, very professional!

Very courteous and professional.  Made good suggestion for alternate paint color on cabinets -- and Alex was right!

After receiving extremely high estimates, I joined Angie's List and came across a local painter, Alex Smith. We met, his estimate was extremely fair, and I hired him on the spot. I can't tell you how pleased I am with his work. The painting was done with such perfection that I had not one complaint and the ceilings were replaced beautifully. What makes Alex so special is that as he found minor problems along the way, he took it upon himself to fix them, not to simply ignore them. I had to beg him to take some additional money for these extras. He treated my home as if it were his own. His work ethic is superb and I highly recommend him.

It went very well. He was a very good painter. He was very knowledgable. He cleaned up after himself. He was a great all around painter.

We had scheduled to have my grandmother's 80th Birthday party at our newly purchased home and wanted to freshen up the main floor with new colors and clean up the walls. It was 3 weeks to the event and we wanted to find someone who could help us out.
Alex came on a recommendation from a family member and he was out to give us an estimate the day after our call. He arrived exactly at the time he said he would. He gave us an estimate for 3 areas of the house we wanted to have done along with setting realistic expectations on what he could have done before our event. He had the estimate to us in 3 business days, which we believed to be in line with the work needed to be done, in the short time frame. We called him up and he set the date to begin.
Alex arrived on the day and time he had set and covered almost every square inch of the living area with drop cloths and went to work. He had the walls patched and partially primed on day one, and finished up with the project as expected. Fit an finish is excellent and we will be having Alex back for stage 2 of the project in a few weeks.
Alex and his team were very personable, kind and respectful of our home.
