"My wife and I moved into our home in the spring of 2022. Our house is 20 years old and it was our dream to redo our kitchen. We had no experience working with contractors before and when we asked around our neighborhood for recommendations, Perry Brothers came up over and over. We came up with a wish list which required renovating the kitchen, taking down walls, refinishing and replacing floors on the first and second floor, putting in a beam and crown molding and repainting large pieces of our home. (A tall order) Perry brothers sent over Mike Hathaway to lead our project. This guy redefines professional. He helped in every step of the process. He helped plan, price, schedule and execute our vision. My wife and I were worried about budget and timing, and Mike made sure we were always heard and taken care of. He is truly a can do person and was super kind in the face of any of our anxieties. The work Perry Brother performed is nothing short of remarkable. To say we were surprised at the end product is an understatement. In a time where interest rates are extremely high, making the most of your home is extremely important. My wife and I have a one year old and another one due in March. After all the work we did, it really feels like we had a chance to put our fingerprint down and we would highly recommend working with Perry Brothers again. "There is a lot of anxiety in trying to pick the right contractor for your home improvement project. If you haven’t worked with someone before, or you don’t have a first-hand referral from someone you trust, it might feel like you are throwing a dart at a board then hoping you made the right choice. We took a huge leap of faith when we decided to renovate our 1945 Cape Bungalow, including remodeling two existing full bathrooms, adding a new Master bedroom with a full bathroom, adding a family/sunroom, and updating the full exterior of the home (roofing, siding, decking, garage, and driveway). We found information for Ryan Norman Builders on-line, and it really seemed too good to be true. Everything was coming up aces and when Ryan first called me to discuss the project I had a pretty good sense he was going to be our choice. Ryan works hard to build trust and win your business. He made it clear through the bidding process, and then after award, that his commitment and attention to the project would be unwavering and he held true to his word during our 5 month renovation period. If the most important selection factors for your project are cost and quality, and working with an honest, approachable, and level-headed GC, then Ryan Norman is absolutely the right choice. We had very reasonable expectations with our project, and this mindset is important for any home renovation; there would be unexpected costs and maybe a few surprises, the day to day activities might slip behind or occur ahead of schedule, and some days things might happen exactly as planned while other times they might not. Things will get messy, construction is messy. If you are unable to accept these as truth, then maybe Ryan Norman Builders is not the right choice for you, actually, maybe home renovation is not right for you…. may be better to List it not Love it. Our overall project started on time and ended on time and throughout the process it was easy to collaborate with Ryan. With every challenge he had a satisfying solution. He was always transparent regarding cost and any budget risks. He works with a predominantly subcontracted model, and this does come with some aches and pains. I did find it especially useful to plan time in the morning between 7-8am to check-in and get aligned for the day. In spite of the subcontract model, Ryan personally sees through every detail right down to the final punch list item. He wanted to make sure that upon completion of the project we were 100% happy, and was willing and able to re-work a few aspects that didn’t quite meet his or our standard. We are thrilled with the outcome of our project, and grateful to Ryan and his team for making our home design a reality."

"When we started our plan of remodeling, the first thing we did was the complete roof replacement including kitchen vent & duct pipe installation to the roof, and new installation of attic ventilation. MMP did not only completed it just as agreed but also very efficiently. The crews were friendly, professional, and careful. The jobs were carefully managed and implemented effectively. I was impressed by Matt, who is the manager, and he does an outstanding job in managing the crews and the progress of the situation, and the communication was clear and always to the point. We then moved to initiate a search for a contractor of two bathrooms remodeling after completing the roof and attic vent, MMP was one of the many candidates. Matt has had not only the best idea and proposals but also shown an impressive & professional sense of evaluating the project accurately, including the possible structural modification as well as a competitive estimate of the cost of the build. His proposal included a rebuild of a wall of the bathroom to expand another one adjacent to it. Matt accepted to use my schematic design image (made with a software tool) and a spreadsheet list of the fixtures that I created - as many as fifty items including TOTO, Grohe, American Standard, Panasonic, and IKEA - to start the job (later changed some of them due to local plumbing code compliance) After beginning the bathroom remodel project, Matt shared what jobs will be done with us timely and efficiently via text so that we feel comfortable enough in knowing what is going on while living in the house of dust & noise from remodeling. The crews, Zen and Mark, were very courteous, extensively experienced, reliable, and friendly with excellent communication, sometimes with songs of 80s rock music. They ask me when more precise specifications are needed and notified me when they feel advance notifications are required. When a change is necessary due to inspection, they informed me and clarified what and why. I have never felt uncomfortable in living together with the remodel job which has lasted over four months. The completed two bathrooms were stunning, just as I imagined. Matt, Zen, and Mark have proved their strong & thoughtful expertise and lived up with my request patiently until completion. Great job. A home remodeling project cannot be successful without having a trusted partner, and my experience with MMP has led me to be glad to share my confidence that MMP has a credential to become your reliable partner to manage a construction project together."

"My pressure treated deck needed replacement. I got 3 bids which I was considering but was told by a friend to check out Remodel or Renew. Mike Christopher, the Owner, came and asked me what was the main thing I was concerned about. I told him that I was looking for quality workmanship with top of the line Trex composite wood that wouldnâ  t require a lot of maintenance. He sat down with his IPad and designed exactly what I wanted. The design he made was like an actual picture of the finished product and the price was great which included the removal and disposal of the former deck. This is the first time Iâ  ve EVER reviewed a business that has done work on our home. They deserve it! First, their builders worked long hours and I observed them as they made sure every step was done with precise measurements and the finished product showed just what I observed. Unbelievably sturdy, they didnâ  t cut corners to save time and it was absolutely beautiful. Also what I consider a huge factor is the Warranties on the work and material. A 25 year Warranty that covers scratching and fading of the Trex flooring and railings. UNBELIEVABLE! Lastly, they left the work area cleaner than before they started and Mike the Owner answered my calls or texts every time I had a question either immediately or responded within 15 minutes. All I can say about Remodel or Renew is if you give them a chance to bid on your project you will be happy and even happier if you hire them and see for yourself what I have just told you! The whole process was very easy from designing the space, selecting colors, and having a contract manager who organized the entire basement remodel including all the trades and inspections. We were sold on the Owens Corning materials for the basement and that they were engineered specifically for a basement space. Would highly recommend this team for your basement remodel needs."

"Some of the designs that were offered when designing the basement were not actually available and I was not told until they were already doing the install. The breaker for the basement lights and plugs seems overloaded because it will trip when I have the treadmill plugged in. There were a couple of places where the paint did not appear to dry correctly and had to be redone and still has an uneven surface. They got it done quickly but you could definitely tell it was rushed."
