Best remodel designers near Newfields, NH

"Chris and his team updated and remodeled an old bathroom for us. They always arrived when they said they would and left the work space clean at the end of the day. Communications were very good and we were kept informed about any issues that arose. We are very pleased with the end result. It was a pleasure to work with Chris and we will definitely use Ayotte Solutions again."

"The project went great; I'm very happy with the final product. It lines up exactly with what I was looking for at the start of the project and looks better than I could have planned because of some great design suggestions from Wagner Home Renovation along the way. We ended up creating two separate closets from the previous closet incorporating some previously unused space in the condo as well. Both closets are accessed through very nice double doors. The laundry closet and general/clothes closet both look great. Wagner Home Renovation used high quality repurposed wood from a previous project and black iron rods to give the general/clothes closet great character. All of the work was very well done, and blends into the existing paint and trim-work so well, you can't even tell any work has been done. As an example, they added a wooden keystone at the enlarged entranceway near the new closets that was a very nice touch and feels like it was always there. They were able to save me money throughout the project by offering to use repurposed wood from previous projects that was often better quality than what would normally be used. Wagner Home Renovation does high-quality work and has a genuine interest in how well the end result turns out. They have a great attention for detail, offer great design ideas and options, and are responsive, honest, budget-conscious, flexible, reliable and easy to work with. I highly recommend them."

"Aside from the plumber in the complete house renovation it went very well; Plumber delayed project by a month; He will not be rehired"

"Great experience with Rabbit Design. I appreciated the quick first communication and follow up with a quote. It was so easy. Installation team was efficient and friendly. I would definitely recommend this company."

"Some of the designs that were offered when designing the basement were not actually available and I was not told until they were already doing the install. The breaker for the basement lights and plugs seems overloaded because it will trip when I have the treadmill plugged in. There were a couple of places where the paint did not appear to dry correctly and had to be redone and still has an uneven surface. They got it done quickly but you could definitely tell it was rushed."

"Chris took my rough design, refined it and used his drawing for permitting and as a guide for subcontractors. Chris supervised excavation the foundation pour, utility connections and a variety of specialty contractors including plumbing and electrical, wallboard and plaster including the a very nice ceiling, windows and roofing. He did all the framing, rough and finish carpentry, flooring including tile, himself. There was no element of the build where he wasn’t intimately involved. Chris was considerate of my ideas, and enhanced and often expanded on the them. He was conscious of my budget and stretched my dollars without sacrificing quality. Two years later when a sliding door seal failed he replaced the door at no charge. My home is modest but “feels” bigger and more expensive than what it was. It is open concept with a lot of natural light. It takes advantage of passive solar heating and with my wood stove this 1800 square foot house makes it through the coldest winter without turning on the gas heat yet only consumed two cords of wood! It’s too bad Chris moved to the coast, contractors with integrity and skill are not easy to find. Our community’s loss, is Coastal Maine’s gain. I would be happy to recommend Chris to anyone in need of his many skills."

"I would not hesitate for a second hiring Horsman Builders for any of my house projects or remodel, in fact that is what I will do from now on. I was nervous starting a project having to handle things on my own but Tim made me comfortable with a detailed estimate, answered all my questions, kept me informed about the work, the site was always clean and the result is awesome, my neighbor was commenting on how great it is just checking it out from a window. Fair price, excellent quality and great customer service. A+"

"Adam and his crew did great work. Very professional and flexible with our difficult remodel."

"Jason was diligent and contributed a lot of assistance in making the final design work and stay on budget. Schedule was kept on a reasonable basis, not much delay. Jason and his team were thorough and complete and considerate of the surroundings as they were building in an area next a horse barn. Took care to work with us when we needed them to stop or halt so we could move the animals etc. Considerate and professional, invoiced on line with schedule and did all work as detailed in a very good quote and kept to budget. No Surprises."
