"Firstly I choose Jeff because of his outstanding reviews and very reasonable quote. I was not disappointed. Jeff and his team did an excellent job on a challenging bathroom addition. It basically consisted of transforming a storage space under the roof with inadequate head hight into a full bathroom. Jeff worked closely with me on the design giving good practical suggestions and was extremely professional in the construction. This included getting a structural engineer to verify roof loads after installing a huge skylight that provided necessary head height. He also had the great idea to change the design to include a bath in a very tight space after work had begun. Jeff was outstanding in his communication and flexibility to change the project design once under construction. Everyone on his team was excellent ranging from carpenters, plumbing, electrical, painting etc.. and Jeff was great at coordinating them all. I would definitely hire him again and highly recommend him!"

"There is a lot of anxiety in trying to pick the right contractor for your home improvement project. If you haven’t worked with someone before, or you don’t have a first-hand referral from someone you trust, it might feel like you are throwing a dart at a board then hoping you made the right choice. We took a huge leap of faith when we decided to renovate our 1945 Cape Bungalow, including remodeling two existing full bathrooms, adding a new Master bedroom with a full bathroom, adding a family/sunroom, and updating the full exterior of the home (roofing, siding, decking, garage, and driveway). We found information for Ryan Norman Builders on-line, and it really seemed too good to be true. Everything was coming up aces and when Ryan first called me to discuss the project I had a pretty good sense he was going to be our choice. Ryan works hard to build trust and win your business. He made it clear through the bidding process, and then after award, that his commitment and attention to the project would be unwavering and he held true to his word during our 5 month renovation period. If the most important selection factors for your project are cost and quality, and working with an honest, approachable, and level-headed GC, then Ryan Norman is absolutely the right choice. We had very reasonable expectations with our project, and this mindset is important for any home renovation; there would be unexpected costs and maybe a few surprises, the day to day activities might slip behind or occur ahead of schedule, and some days things might happen exactly as planned while other times they might not. Things will get messy, construction is messy. If you are unable to accept these as truth, then maybe Ryan Norman Builders is not the right choice for you, actually, maybe home renovation is not right for you…. may be better to List it not Love it. Our overall project started on time and ended on time and throughout the process it was easy to collaborate with Ryan. With every challenge he had a satisfying solution. He was always transparent regarding cost and any budget risks. He works with a predominantly subcontracted model, and this does come with some aches and pains. I did find it especially useful to plan time in the morning between 7-8am to check-in and get aligned for the day. In spite of the subcontract model, Ryan personally sees through every detail right down to the final punch list item. He wanted to make sure that upon completion of the project we were 100% happy, and was willing and able to re-work a few aspects that didn’t quite meet his or our standard. We are thrilled with the outcome of our project, and grateful to Ryan and his team for making our home design a reality."

"Richard is a wonderful person to work with. Great communication and very easy going. He knows his stuff! He was able to accomodate the design needed for additions in my 1949 Cape Cod style home, as well as redesign on the interior. He lived more than an hour away, but was willing to travel out to my home for measurements! This was a huge plus. He was able to coordinate the printing of blueprints, so I could pay for them and have them sent to my home, since he lived a distance away. I would highly recommend him to anyone, in need of an architect, for a project, on an older home. He was such a pleasure to work with!"

"MMP was fantastic. They were easy to work with and did great work. We only had trouble with 2 sub-contractors during this project (Granite & Kitchen design) and they were the sub-contractors that my wife and I selected ourselves outside of MMP... we wish we had used MMP for everything because they did such a good job. "My pressure treated deck needed replacement. I got 3 bids which I was considering but was told by a friend to check out Remodel or Renew. Mike Christopher, the Owner, came and asked me what was the main thing I was concerned about. I told him that I was looking for quality workmanship with top of the line Trex composite wood that wouldnâ  t require a lot of maintenance. He sat down with his IPad and designed exactly what I wanted. The design he made was like an actual picture of the finished product and the price was great which included the removal and disposal of the former deck. This is the first time Iâ  ve EVER reviewed a business that has done work on our home. They deserve it! First, their builders worked long hours and I observed them as they made sure every step was done with precise measurements and the finished product showed just what I observed. Unbelievably sturdy, they didnâ  t cut corners to save time and it was absolutely beautiful. Also what I consider a huge factor is the Warranties on the work and material. A 25 year Warranty that covers scratching and fading of the Trex flooring and railings. UNBELIEVABLE! Lastly, they left the work area cleaner than before they started and Mike the Owner answered my calls or texts every time I had a question either immediately or responded within 15 minutes. All I can say about Remodel or Renew is if you give them a chance to bid on your project you will be happy and even happier if you hire them and see for yourself what I have just told you! The whole process was very easy from designing the space, selecting colors, and having a contract manager who organized the entire basement remodel including all the trades and inspections. We were sold on the Owens Corning materials for the basement and that they were engineered specifically for a basement space. Would highly recommend this team for your basement remodel needs."

"Khaled and his team were outstanding. The attention to detail, the quality of the workmanship and Khaled's attention to my questions and concerns during the project were all top notch. As with any project this size (mine was an entire basement remodel approximately 800sqft that included some minor demo), there were some complications, but the measure of any situation is how the stakeholders address it and there too, Khaled proved that he is made of superior customer service mettle. He got in front of the problems we were facing and addressed them methodically and kept me apprised as needed. He has a marvelous crew and they are all quite fun and knowledgeable. I absolutely love my finished basement. The walls and the painting job alone makes it worthwhile, and that was just the finish work! Fantastic! "Some of the designs that were offered when designing the basement were not actually available and I was not told until they were already doing the install. The breaker for the basement lights and plugs seems overloaded because it will trip when I have the treadmill plugged in. There were a couple of places where the paint did not appear to dry correctly and had to be redone and still has an uneven surface. They got it done quickly but you could definitely tell it was rushed."
