"I recently hired Coen Brothers Construction on a thorough bathroom renovation, and the outcome was outstanding. Their quality was excellent, and I am delighted with the final result. Their sub-contractors were also great and worked at the same high standards as the Coen Brothers. Although we faced some communication issues at the outset, we eventually worked through them, and it significantly improved throughout the project. They paid attention to detail; when my project manager saw me stripping the trim for reuse, they recommended buying new trim and a lumber yard to get it. And it makes a big difference having new trim with clean, sharp lines. Their tile work took longer than expected, but the miter cuts the trim cuts, and the finish is excellent. They were consistently punctual, respectful of my home, and very tidy - tidying up at the end of each day. While the project took longer than anticipated, the reasonable cost and the team's meticulous attention to detail compensated for it. Coen Brothers Construction also expertly handled all necessary permits and inspections, keeping me informed every step of the way. "Connell Roofing completely replaced our roof in 2020 on a new purchase. The roof was covered in moss. Connell Roofing's sales person falsely represented to us that high end GAF shingle was warranted to repel moss, inducing us to pay thousands more than we were negotiating. Four years later the roof is growing moss and Connell Roofing denies making the false claims. Instead they charged us to come look and the roof and recommend we pay them more money to remove the moss from the roof. Connell Roofing has a fully staffed call center but instead of returning calls to try to address this situations, the president of the company would only email after business hours. After being left a bad review on Facebook, Connell Roofing is now manipulating its social media presence to hide the bad review. Connell Roofing has been reported to the BBB, the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, and the shingle manufacturer for make false and deceptive business practices."
