I m sure most plumbers were on their way home from work when Joe received my frantic message...we had water leaking from fridge and dishwasher into basement, my kitchen was in shambles, I have 5 young children, hubby took day off to meet plumber but he canceled at 1:30!!!!!! Joe probably didn t get to eat dinner until 8pm LOL but he came on his way home. I am EXTREMELY thankful for his consideration in my desperate time... even his price was fair!!!! "Neary is one of the good ones. Billy gave me detailed quotes for all the work, and worked with me to get the most important stuff finished before winter hit. He's one of those rare true craftsmen -- not "that guy" who gives you a quote and then sends a random crew of day laborers to do a slapdash job. He was on the job himself most days, doing the work and giving direction to the people who work with him. He knows enough to recognize when other jobs weren't done correctly, takes the time to explain the problem, then goes & fixes it right. There were some delays, but you mostly have to expect that when working with contractors. The important part is that I felt that I got excellent value for the money I paid (not cheap!), and my house is in much better condition than it was at the beginning of the year. A+ would hire again (in fact, I'm already working on a list for him to quote in the spring).
