McMahon Plumbing & Heating

I worked with McMahon Plumbing & Heating on a kitchen renovation, including replacing a sink and garbage disposal, relocating a gas range, installing a water fill line for fridge, installing a radiator, and relocating a hose spigot. They also replaced some corroded pipe that was uncovered during demo. Their pricing was fair and upfront, and they were prompt, professional and friendly. I look forward to working with them again whenever we need a plumber, and recommend them very highly.

Horrible experience. Rude. Got stuck with water heater that I wasn’t informed about. Sells retail around 500.00.. I got a 2000,00 bill for work that took about an hour and a half... he’s very sketchy about exactly what he’s charging for. Also, he includes a 300.00 charge for getting a permit. That seems a little high to me. Includes it in service. He has been reported on the AGs list for fraudulent practices.

This was my fourth time using them. They have been very good with us. They are not the cheapest but I value their professionalism among other things.

It was very pricey for job.

John - the plumber that came from Mike's team - was, AS USUAL, AMAZING. For almost 10 years we struggled with a really annoying, slow bath tub drain. Everything I tried failed - and I am a darned good handyman myself!
When John came, not only did he resolve the problem, he did it cheerfully, confidently and expertly. He did not give up. It took FOUR times with the snake - and about 50 feet later, he FINALLY, after all these years, plowed through the obstruction in the piping, wihch was the result of years of buildup. Since then - and with some enzyme cleansing, it's like a brand new tub again. The overflow assembly is spanking new - same manufacturer as the original (Gerber) which John figured out in seconds.
He has been to the house a few times now for different projects - and each time he has been a champ!
I am so grateful to Mike and John for coming out in the snow, for making time in their busy schedule to come out next day, and for staying with it until the issue was resolved.
I am deeply impressed by their grit, determination, professionalism, good nature and common sense smarts.
YOU GUYS ROCK - AGAIN!

My oven broke.  I purchased a new one.  McMahon Plumbing & Heating were to come out to install.  Because it was gas McMahon Plumbing & Heating came to cut off my gas a day early, for the installation and left.  This morning I called to let McMahon Plumbing & Heating know that it was delivered so that he could turn the gas back on and hook up the stove.  McMahon Plumbing & Heating was rude to me.  I am without heat.  I can't cook.  I am disappointed.  I have used McMahon Plumbing & Heating for years and have payed his over charging.

I'm very happy with their service. They are a little bit pricey but I am happy with them. I was also happy that if I called him on a Friday afternoon he would be able to come the next day. I had used a previous company who when I called them they would charge me extra for coming out on a Saturday. With the previous company I got so mad that I went out to the hardware store and fixed my toilet on my own. McMahon Plumbing & Heating showed up right on time for the service as well. Everything was excellent.

He is very good and time effecitend. He is very professional and responsive.  He is experienced and gets the job done right the first time.

It was a tough job and I ended being very happy with his services. They came and did a super job.

The experience would have been positive had I not felt seriously overcharged.  A price of $438 seems excessive for the parts supplied and the work performed. Added to this was a suspicion that replacing the valves was overkill. Afterwards, I took apart one of the old valves and noticed that the washer in the stem of one of them had disintegrated. This made me wonder why if a little bit of grease and new washers might have been sufficient to fix the  problem.

Called to get my gas furnace checked for the winter.  About 6 -7 years ago I had my pilot furnace converted to a pilotless one. (an add on box that turns the burners on when needed)  Well it was working last winter and now it wasn't. Things do break but I wonder...  It has worked fine all winter.

It was a good experience. The price was a little too high.

It took hours to maneuver it into place and hook it up. He was so very fair about the price, considering the time he and his helper spent here; I couldn?t believe my luck to find him. He even came back to check a connection on my washer and dryer which was not his responsibility. I highly recommend him.

The plumber was prompt and professional. The disposal worked afterwards, but my wallet wasn't happy. Tip: do some online research to make sure it's not a fix that you can handle before shelling out!

It was all good, except that the price seemed a bit high for the time it took.

They were here within a few days after the big floods. Did a great job and answered questions when asked; cleaned up afterward and moved things back where they were. Will definitely recommend them to our neighbors and friends.

They came out and took care of the accident and I was so impressed by their service that I have called them to come back out and take care of some maintenance and preventative work as well. They are fair, considerate, and responsive. I feel that I could get cheaper plumbers, however they have been very responsive and have provided me with good service. I even signed up for their member maintenance program, because I was so impressed with their service.

I had a clogged drain and one company wanted to cut open my wall to get at a pipe which would have been a lot more expensive so I called Mcmahon Plumbing to get a second opinion. They were at my house in less than an hour and with the equipment they used they found the problem and fixed it without going through the wall. The gentlemen that was at my house was very nice and I would highly recommend them.
