"My wife and I were considering having some remodeling done to our house but we were not sure how it would all work. A friend recommended we hire an architect or draftsman to help with the ideas. We submitted the request through Angie's and found Richard from iCornerstone. We live in Tyngsborough and he came to our house from Weymouth and spent the day measuring everything in the house and provided us with an outstanding renderings and diagrams of our house from all the floors. We didn't have any original drawings and neither did the town wit details. Richards work was exemplary and nothing short of outstanding. He really knows his stuff and he kept in contact the entire time. We asked for the changes and he made them to a second diagram with a 3D layout we could show to the contractors for the remodel. I highly recommend Richard and iCornerstone for any of your needs."

"We worked with Jose toward the end of 2023 to design our dream home. He was very accommodating from the start, especially with meeting locally since he doesn’t have a dedicated office space. We still prefer meeting in person, so that flexibility meant a lot. Most of our communication was with his associate, Ramy, who was great to work with. He’s easy to reach, patient, and always made sure our ideas and concerns were heard. There were a few moments where it felt like they were double checking details or relying on others for confirmation, but it wasn’t a major issue just something to be aware of with any contractor. Overall, we would recommend them. The one area that could really be improved is their design technology. The drawings felt a bit outdated, and we weren’t offered any 3D house plan. Updating this part of their service would make a big difference, since being able to visualize your home in 3D is incredibly helpful when making design decisions."

"It has been just over two years since we began working with Bob and Jane on the renovation of our house. From beginning to the approaching end, Bob and Jane have always been available, ready to accommodate us with visits to the house, design changes, and ready to provide advice on all matters. They were patient with us as we confronted permit problems and a year’s delay due to the 2015 winter. Without Artios Architects, we would have been lost. "Given the complexity of the project, it went as smoothly as something like this can go. Hagit developed a very functional and attractive design based around an island that would seat 3, along with a variety of cabinetry. She was very patient when we wanted a number of adjustments. She accompanied us to pick out counters and backsplash, and always seemed to have good ideas for selections according to our tastes. Brian mapped out the engineering, which included moving a support beam, together with an engineering firm. He also mapped out a three-month schedule with the various subcontractors the firm uses, like the plumber, electrician, plasterer, counter people, floor people, etc. They all had lots of experience with this kind of work, and in working with KCF. Brian worked hard to ensure that new wood flooring would match well with existing flooring just outside the new kitchen. The KCF team also took a lot of care to set things up in our condo to create barriers to minimize dust and dirt, and try to ease our inconvenience; they even loaned us a microwave to use in our temporary kitchen in the basement. For the most part, subs showed up as scheduled, and did good work. KCF also coordinated all the town inspections. There were only a few glitches--the biggest one was when the tiles for the backsplash arrived broken, and it took some weeks to get replacements. The tile outfit wasn't very responsive, and seemed not to care much. But KCF kept on with all the other work, and the tiles were finally put in pretty much near the end. We have used the kitchen for a couple months now and love it. The design and craftsmanship all worked well. Going through a kitchen re-do is never a pleasant experience, but KCF made it as painless as possible."
