"It was quite a surprise to find black mold growing in our mini-split heat-pump/ac units over the weekend! The situation was quite dire with the system emitting a bad smell and the fact that I have asthma and mold allergies which posed a serious health risk! After being told by the company that originally installed the system, “We don’t provide deep cleaning service for these units, try looking on Angie’s List (boo on Sila!)” I landed here. While other companies did respond to my bid, Atlantic Heating and Air Conditioning was the most responsive and was able to send out a team on one day’s notice (the wait for other service providers was up to three weeks!). The tech team, Josh and Zack, arrived on time and called me 1/2 before arrival as promised. They were very respectful, kept a clean work space and (since we are in the middle of a pandemic) wore masks and were very careful about the usual COVID protocols. The four units in our home are now SPARKLING CLEAN! We are 110% pleased with this job!! We will hire Atlantic as need be in the future for our heating and cooling needs. I have given up on the company that originally installed the units and will post a truthful review about them in an appropriate space online. "I hired Taylor to improve the efficiency of one of my AC zones. The problem was somewhat nebulous but Taylor did not hesitate to do a careful initial investigation, explained clearly what he thought the problem was and recommended a remedy. He clearly explained the costs, was courteous around my house (wore disposable booties) and went above and beyond my expectations (stopped by on the weekend to check on cleaning progress) making sure that the problem was thoroughly solved. He emailed an invoice on the day the repair was finished and offered an all-electronic and easy payment method. I strongly recommend Taylor for any HVAC jobs and will definitely call him again with my HVAC problems."
