So they were also sort of a plumber and gas fitter, anything like that, and so they really specialized in what I was looking for. So that is sort of their core business. They were good and they did a very nice, clean job. I wish these guys did automotive! I didn't rate them on price because I don't have a good comparison. I initially called another HVAC company that came in but there were too many red flags during the discussion. So, I called Rodenhisor for a second opinion. Rodenhiser were on target with what I needed (immediate and long term), provided high quality service (ie on time, within budget, excellent work, cleaned up after repair and even wore booties to protect my beige carpet). I especially liked being able to make special requests such as a customized configuration that allowed for more storage space and done with a good sense for the aesthetics (ie they made it pretty with regards to the wiring, piping, ducting and outlet switch location, etc). They also noticed that it was a struggle for me to open the sliding door to the filter (which gets stuck) so they added an easy to open spring-loaded door just for me. Lastly, it is good to have a large company staff for customers to access for urgent 24/7 calls (minimizing long waits) regarding heating, AC, plumbing, electrical, renovations, etc. It is like a convenient one-stop shopping service that I can keep going to whenever I need something done."
