I've had several HVAC companies come to diagnose and all of them told me different things: replace the whole system, new lines, etc. potentially costing tens of thousands of dollars. So I decided to troubleshoot by myself and pinpointed the issue: the filter dryer needed to be replaced. No company wanted to do this small job. I called Emerald HVAC and told them about my issue, they sent in José, who diagnosed the issue to be what I said. He replaced the filter dryer and the AC unit works perfectly now after several years! In short, Emerald HVAC will be my first choice for any HVAC work in the future. They are honest, professional, and reasonably priced. I recommend them without reservation!"

"Duct Kings came out quickly and spent one day thoroughly cleaning the vents and scheduled the aero-seal for another day. During the process they noticed an issue with their software and rather than ignoring it and continuing the work, they stopped and rescheduled to come back and finish when the equipment was working properly. "It was quite a surprise to find black mold growing in our mini-split heat-pump/ac units over the weekend! The situation was quite dire with the system emitting a bad smell and the fact that I have asthma and mold allergies which posed a serious health risk! After being told by the company that originally installed the system, “We don’t provide deep cleaning service for these units, try looking on Angie’s List (boo on Sila!)” I landed here. While other companies did respond to my bid, Atlantic Heating and Air Conditioning was the most responsive and was able to send out a team on one day’s notice (the wait for other service providers was up to three weeks!). The tech team, Josh and Zack, arrived on time and called me 1/2 before arrival as promised. They were very respectful, kept a clean work space and (since we are in the middle of a pandemic) wore masks and were very careful about the usual COVID protocols. The four units in our home are now SPARKLING CLEAN! We are 110% pleased with this job!! We will hire Atlantic as need be in the future for our heating and cooling needs. I have given up on the company that originally installed the units and will post a truthful review about them in an appropriate space online. I would definitely recommend Atlantic to family and friends. (photos attached to this review show one of the units before cleaning - did not think to take after pictures. Suffice it to say, no more mold:)"
