"This company is awesomely good. When my relatively new pool heater sprung a leak, I first called the company that I bought it from and that installed it. They told me that it was my fault it was broken, that there was no way it would be covered under the warranty, and that I had to replace the entire heater. That did not sit well with me so at the recommendation of the pool heater manufacturer I called New England Gas Systems. Bruce carefully dismantled the system, investigated the problem, and most importantly identified and explained the root cause of the problem. But that’s not all. They also went to bat for me and convinced the manufacturer to honor the warranty on the part that was broken, which was a huge financial savings for me. They ordered all the right parts, including the parts to fix the root cause, and efficiently put everything together so that the pool heater now looks and is working like brand new. I cannot say enough good things about the expertise, professionalism, and integrity of this company and its owner. They truly lived up to the ideals that you expect from a service provider and as a result have gained a new customer for life."

"Super excellent! Tony was just great. Probably sounds dumb, but every once in a while you meet a tradesperson who's just so craftsmanly and in tune with their work, it's kind of inspiring. Oven wasn't heating consistently, Tony said the igniter needed to be replaced. However, the gas was hard-piped in, and the pipes were so old (35 years+), that he was afraid to wrench on them any harder for fear of creating an open gas leak, said we needed to get the gas re-piped with flex line, then he'd come back and finish the job, which he did. No extra charge for the return visit."

I was in traffic trying to get to the property and they charged me for the time they were "waiting". Then they charged me for the time, said they fixed the issue, took payment, and the issue came back hours later. Unacceptable for $500!! What a ripoff! You do not get what you paid for with this company. Look elsewhere and avoid this company propped up on fake reviews."

"We were referred by relatives who hired Tom for their kitchen remodeling several years ago and are thrilled with their kitchen. Tom and his team were responsive to our requests and found solutions to several unexpected issues. One issue was that we wanted the ceiling beam to be up in the ceiling so it wouldn't show and another was moving the plumbing so we could open up a doorway to bring light into a dark hallway and finding a solution to venting the stove to the outside. Tom also referred us to excellent sources for countertop and tile."

"To replace our downdraft range, we decided to shop local rather than the Home Depots or Lowes. First, when we tried to order a replacement downdraft range, they had no idea nor advice. Good, we did our homework. Then delivery... impossible to get an update or ETA. Then, 4 or 5 weeks later, we got a random phone call that they will deliver on the day. So we had to reschedule and everything. Finally, the installation, at an extra cost. They hooked us up with local contractors that turned out to be relatives. They quoted us $2,000-2,500 for swapping the ranges. Hard no, we found another guy that did a great job for less than $600. Bottom line, we will never use Hugo again, and big stores are as good if not better."
