"We are overall very happy with the project. Sila had to install a high velocity air conditioning system in very limited space. They provided a timely quote and showed up and did the work professionally and on time. There were a few hiccups, such as the installation of the hatch to the attic space, but Sila’s carpenter agreed to fix the problem at no additional cost to us, so I consider that to be excellent service. After two weeks, the system has been performing exactly as we hoped."

"It was quite a surprise to find black mold growing in our mini-split heat-pump/ac units over the weekend! The situation was quite dire with the system emitting a bad smell and the fact that I have asthma and mold allergies which posed a serious health risk! After being told by the company that originally installed the system, “We don’t provide deep cleaning service for these units, try looking on Angie’s List (boo on Sila!)” I landed here. While other companies did respond to my bid, Atlantic Heating and Air Conditioning was the most responsive and was able to send out a team on one day’s notice (the wait for other service providers was up to three weeks!). The tech team, Josh and Zack, arrived on time and called me 1/2 before arrival as promised. They were very respectful, kept a clean work space and (since we are in the middle of a pandemic) wore masks and were very careful about the usual COVID protocols. The four units in our home are now SPARKLING CLEAN! We are 110% pleased with this job!! We will hire Atlantic as need be in the future for our heating and cooling needs. I have given up on the company that originally installed the units and will post a truthful review about them in an appropriate space online. I would definitely recommend Atlantic to family and friends. (photos attached to this review show one of the units before cleaning - did not think to take after pictures. Suffice it to say, no more mold:)"

"J. Griffin installed a propane heating system. When he came to look at the job he took the time to explain everything to me so I knew my options. The equipment he uses is top notch. My basement actually looks like it belongs in the 21st century now. The did the job quickly and were very professional and left the place looking perfect. The did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Even finished a little early. And most important, the heat works amazingly well."

I found Kingdom Cooling on Angies List and the owner (Gerry) was very responsive and personable and explained to me in detail what he thought was going on after explaining the problem. "With four dogs, pet hair is just part of life. Unfortunately, enough of it collected on our evaporator coil over the years that our AC froze up right before this week's 100+ degree heat wave. After seeing how clogged the coil was, I called JC Duct Cleaning. John Carroll and his assistant Steve were fantastic. They thoroughly vacuumed, brushed, and cleaned the coil, then finished it with a foaming cleaner to remove any remaining buildup. Our AC was back up and running in no time. What impressed me most was John's honesty and integrity. During a brutal heat wave, he could have easily charged much more, but his price was extremely fair. John is one of the nicest, most genuine people I've met in the trades. When I'm back to work and can afford to have the ducts cleaned, there is no question who I'll be calling. "My central AC unit has been broken for several years. intermittently working during hot summers. I've had several HVAC companies come to diagnose and all of them told me different things: replace the whole system, new lines, etc. potentially costing tens of thousands of dollars. So I decided to troubleshoot by myself and pinpointed the issue: the filter dryer needed to be replaced. No company wanted to do this small job. I called Emerald HVAC and told them about my issue, they sent in José, who diagnosed the issue to be what I said. He replaced the filter dryer and the AC unit works perfectly now after several years! In short, Emerald HVAC will be my first choice for any HVAC work in the future. They are honest, professional, and reasonably priced. I recommend them without reservation!"

I bought a $299 big deal for this service. The fellow that came out, Randy, was very informative about what he was doing and told us step by step what he was doing. He said I did not need to clean my air filter and I didn't, but I went down yesterday and cleaned it. It was full of dust and there was a clump of dust in one of the ducts. My interaction with him was fine at the time. The work turned out okay. To get a higher grade from me they could finish off and make sure my air filter was clean and that the area I found as dust was cleaned out.
