"It went great! They reached out to me right away to schedule the service at the most convenient time. They showed up on time. Performed the job with professionalism and throughness. I was very pleased by the appearance of the house after the cleaning, and would hire them again.

"It went great, Gabe and his team were affordable and willing to work with us on cost. They arrived promptly when they said they would and were very responsive to us. Gabe constantly checked in with us to make sure we were happy with the service. They added missing shingles and did other little things to improve the house without us asking them to do so or quoting it. When the job was complete it was very well done and we were very satisfied. We would recommend Gabe and his team to anyone looking to have their home painted."

"Exactly as promised! The owner, Chris, constantly monitored for quality throughout the job. The crew cleaned up thoroughly every day. Provided good advice on how to touch up other areas that I would have hired a painter for. Very fair and practical about approach to the project and our needs in general. Price included painting our color choice samples on the walls in the rooms so we could confirm our paint chip selection before the job began. Very friendly and top quality. I would hire again and highly recommend."

"Absolutely perfect experience. Carlos, Thiago and their team are second to none! We had a last-minute project and a tight timeframe. They were so willing to accommodate that the team spent an entire Sunday making sure our home looked perfect. We discussed a scope of work and they made great suggestions and even performed work in addition to the agreed project. We can't say enough about their promptness, reliability, efficiency, quality of work, work ethic, cleanliness, and willingness to ensure we were 100% happy with the results. We so enjoyed having them in the house that we found ourselves waving goodbye and wishing they could stay longer. We were so impressed that we asked them to quote more projects before they left. You will not be disappointed. Look no further than Radiant Plus Services."

"I never heard back from the service provider. Weeks later, Angie's List notified me that he had sent me a message via the message center. I wish he would have called me, and I encourage him to change his method of contact to suit his customers."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Sand is a common sublayer for hardscape features like driveways, paver patios, and more. Most projects that involve sand require a 1-inch layer to promote evenness, drainage, and weight distribution. For further drainage, most projects have a 6-inch minimum layer of gravel beneath the sand.

Your pro will most likely bill you at an hourly rate of $50 to $80 per hour to sandblast a door due to its small size. This type of job won't take long, so if you have other surfaces that need cleaning, schedule those tasks at the same time to get your money's worth from your pro's visit.

Sanding and pressure washing serve different purposes in deck maintenance, so one is not necessarily better than the other. Pressure washing is ideal for annual cleaning to remove dirt, grime, mold, and mildew. Sanding is a deeper restoration method used to smooth rough surfaces, remove an old finish, and prepare the wood for a new coat of stain or paint. The ideal process for refinishing a deck is to first clean it (with a power washer), then sand it, and finally apply the new stain or finish. While cleaning should be done annually, sanding and staining are typically needed only every one to three years.

There are two ways sandblasting could be dangerous: improper use of the equipment so that the stream touches your skin, and air particles created during the sandblasting process. While the first is easier to avoid and fairly obvious, the second has the potential to be more serious and is much more difficult to understand. This is why you should always hire a pro to sandblast, as they understand the dangers associated with the process. If proper safety measures are taken, then sandblasting is rarely dangerous.

If you’re DIYing the project, it could take up to a week if you aren’t able to dedicate full-time hours. If you hire a professional and they arrive with a team, expect your stairs to be sanded in as little as 2 hours (for simple projects). Finishing the stairs takes a while longer as there are drying and sealing times to consider, but the actual work will take much less time than the sanding portion.
