Even though I have a background in engineering and construction, I moved forward with vinyl siding my home with some trepidation. My wife and I did some research and through a friend’s recommendation hired RJ Scalzi and Sons. The work scope included replacing fascia boards, rake boards, gutters, shutters and downspouts and installing vinyl siding. Jason and Matt showed up on time, and it very soon became clear that they were extremely skilled at their craft. Through every step of the project, they took measures to minimize inconveniencing us, including location of work vehicles and work benches, preventing damage to lawn, shrubs and trees, securing artwork on walls and shelves to prevent damage, communicating updates on schedule and timelines and maintaining a neat work area. Not only did it appear that Jason and Matt were talented, but it was also obvious that they have honed an extremely efficient team that executes work safely, quickly and with the highest quality. Two minor unexpected and out of work scope problems arose during the project that instead of dropping on my lap, as they rightfully could have, they took action and got resolved. Over the days Jason and Matt worked on our home, we were constantly impressed with the quality and efficiency of their work. A major plus was the professional, considerate and friendly demeanor both young men exhibited throughout the project. We enjoyed listening to their good natured banter, that didn’t slow them down one bit, and interacting with them. The completed project looks great and met all of our requirements, a neighbor even stopped by and asked for an estimate. Jason and Matt’s ability to combine high quality efficient work with very winning personal ways made the vinyl siding of our house a great experience and this may sound strange, but it was fun to have them around. "From the very start ,Dan, the sales representative was extremely helpful in answering the many questions we had regarding the siding of our house. He told us that we may have to wait a few months as they were booked, but if they had an opening they would side the house sooner. True to his word they came as soon as they could. Just two months after our first contact with Beantown, they were ready to side our house. They explained how the process would take place, and it all happened just as they said. The work was done in two days. The workers were extremely professional. On day one of the job I returned home from work and saw that they had removed all the old siding and shingles, and had already started framing the windows. My husband said there were 12 workers present on the second day. I came home from work to see that my entire house was sided. Several neighbors had stopped by to tell me how well they worked. "The experience was very stressful. The siding crew was very rough on our 1774 home. They damaged portions of the trim, a window, and the metal roof. I had to constantly monitor the crew to make sure they minimized damage and completed the work correctly. It was difficult communicating with the Spanish-speaking crew. Materials are in my yard that still have not been picked up 2 weeks later. The finished siding looks good, but that is the best complement I can make. I had doors replaced by Power on a previous job and was very satisfied. I would be cautious recommending Power for siding replacement on a similar old house."

It involved a very visible area of roof and reapplication of pieces was flawless. Glad they take pictures as they go so that we can see the process - may not have believed they were there! "I was very happy with the service I received from Precision Door & Window! All the windows in my house had lead paint that was chipping on the exterior window sills. I am pregnant and was afraid that even the slightest breeze would blow all the lead dust into the house and harm myself or my child, when born. 
I called about 20 window guys, siding guys, contractors, etc.  to see if anyone would aluminum coil wrap the window sills so the lead wasn't exposed. A bunch of the companies came over and told me that it was too much work, it wasn't worth it, or they just didn't do that type of job.
