Colin McCarthy did an excellent jo of plastering the areas of our garage ceiling that needed to be re-plastered. His work was high quality and completed with in the the time frame he said he would get the job done. I would not hesitate to refer my friends and family members to him. Given the time he took to get the job done right the dollar amount paid was well worth it. I would definitely hire him again

Have already used him a second time (first time to smooth a lot of textured walls, second time to board and plaster a renovated space), and would absolutely repeat. Colin is a great tradesman... his work is excellent and detailed. He's also incredibly nice, punctual, responsive, and fair with his prices. Highly recommend.

Colin did a masterful job of preparing then repairing a series of entries in my upstairs cape home, returned the day after insulation was completed and repaired to “as original condition”. His worker, Eric was also great in removing built-in areas of bath and seeing to their repair. I was very impressed with the entire job. They left the upstairs clean and ready for paint.

This was my second job working with Colin and as usual, his work and workmanship were excellent. He installed blueboard and plastered a third-floor attic space we are turning into an office. He went over everything needing done, was communicative throughout the process, and ensured he protected non-work space areas appropriately. Every outlet was properly cut and trimmed. Despite the challenges of the job, they had it completed in just a few days. I'm very happy with the results and highly recommend McCarthy Plastering.

I hired Collin McCarthy to do the plaster work on my living room which I was redoing at the time. First and foremost he is incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive to detail. From day one of describing the job to finishing the project he was always willing to answer any questions, even if they might have seemed obvious. This of course is great if you're a first time user like me. Before the job was even ready he came out to my home and walked my through the project showing me how to save time and make sure the room came out perfectly. I cant recommend him enough, if I ever have another job I will absolutely be going with him and him alone. He bid below my budget, gave wonderful advice and is a true craftsmen. 10/10, 5 star review, however you want to put it McCarthy is your man!

Colin and Eric did a wonderful job basically giving us all new walls in two areas of the house. It was a big job and done in the worst heat of the summer, but it went through great and as promised. Communication with Colin was very easy and clear, by phone, text or email. Good price (we had other quotes), delivered on time as promised. We are planning to have the rest of the house done already. Will repeat.

Colin and his assistant (spacing out on name) were cool guys. I.felt totally comfortable hanging out with them while they completed my plastering job in about 2 hours or so. I had 3 year old water damage in several spots which they repaired for a reasonable price. I noticed a spot that we had missed and Colin quickly repaired it even though he had plans to go the the Cape after completing my work. He also had a painter come by to give me a quote while they were working. He even turned me on to an Uma Thurman film I'd never seen, Beautiful Girls. They made sure to clean up and leave everything as they found it.

I can't say enough - 1) He was responsive to emails and calls (which as we all know, doesn't always happen) 2) He stuck to the schedule (I had a tight window to perform the work: people lined up back to back) 3) He showed up when he said he would and on time (which I respect) 4) Amazing work - master at his craft: ceiling and walls came out great 5) He protected everything with paper and or a tarp (I had hardwood floors in the room - to acclimate) 6) He was a pleasure to talk with. All around - fantastic experience with Colin and I would certainly hire him again @ a drop of a hat!
