"I had a rusted-out damper in my chimney. I contacted several companies and got estimates for the work, which included removing the rusted damper and replacing the chimney cap with a new stainless steel cap. 5 Star had the best price by far, and had a lot of experience doing this work. The gentleman who came out and gave me the estimate was very nice and very knowledgeable, answering all my questions. Scheduling the work was easy and they were able to accommodate my work schedule. The work was done this morning. They were very clean, showed me how to use the new chimney cap, and even cleaned out the chimney. They were in and out in less than an hour and the price was as estimated."

"Kevin (the owner) was extremely professional and did excellent work. He removed our power vent, which was hooked to an oil burning furnace. He then added a new stainless steel chimney of the best quality at a very reasonable cost to us.
He gave us a discount as our neighbor had his chimney done at the same time.
I would hire him again without reservations.

"Adail of AAB Roofing and his team did an outstanding job on my roof, including chimney tuck pointing, chimney caps, chimney sealing, skylight replacement, some siding work, and a new roof on our old Victorian home. I did extensive research on roofing and roofing companies, and AAB had the best value. They were not the least expensive overall proposal, but that is because they used ALL top of the line materials...the best ice and water shield, the best shingles, the best ridge vents. When I had other roofers rebid using the same top materials, so I had an apples to apples fair comparison, they were more expensive than AAB. Adail is a joy to work with, and a man of his word. He treats his workers very well, and they in turn do a great job for the homeowner. I give Adail and AAB my highest recommendation."

"Certified Chimney Prompt and Professional Service! Our recent urgent necessity to replace our boiler heating system exposed the need for chimney repairs for the efficiency and safety of the new furnace system. Jamie from Certified Chimney fully diagnosed the issues and had numerous pictures taken to document the problems. His explanation was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Jamie answered all our questions in a courteous and helpful manner. In communicating with the main office, Jamie worked with George to secure financing for the urgently needed repairs. The chimney liner, cap and masonry work were exceptionally done. Clean up of the roof and yard was above expectations. It was a pleasure doing business with Certified Chimney in a stressful and urgent home repair situation. We will definitely use again and recommend to others needing chimney services! "The owner told me he would point areas of the chimney and did not until I called back and had him return. When he did return he did a sloppy job and used non matching cement which makes my chimney look like it was done by an inexperienced slob. In addition after inspecting it more closely in November I realized he missed a lot of areas. I patched the rest myself and did a far superior job (and I have never done this work in my life!) The cap looks good and the crown is done but the re-pointing was a real disappointment"
