"Very knowledgeable and professional.  If I was doing a large remodel I would have taken him into consideration.  Factually, I had to have a one piece shower/tub replaced and figured the bathroom could use some updates.  After having several unsuccessful meetings with contractors, I ended up doing the remodel myself for approximately 2,000. Which included a new vanity, tub, tiled floor and tile shower walls, paint, crown moulding and a ceiling light and exhaust fan with new wiring.   I explained my budget and my ideas upon his arrival to my house. bluntly stating that I don't want to waste his time and I don't want my time wasted.  Other reviews have fore warned his high prices. The simplicity of my project began to made into a more severe job.  I feel he does not do small jobs and was trying to bait a bigger fish by stopping by my house.  I have this feeling because he found several ways to inflate the cost.  The talk of permits and lead testing all seem to be white smoke to make you feel comfortable in dealing with a legit contractor when the true agenda is nickel and dimming customers.  I never received an actual quote, I received a phone call stating stating that my bathroom was basically going to be a full gut remodel and he wasn't going to be in my budget.  Just for recollection purposes, all I wanted was a one piece shower removed and replaced.  Something is up when a job that cost me  2,000 in materials alone was going to cost upwards of 15-20,000 for a "full gut remodel".  I'm sure if adding an addition or a garage, he is the guy to contact because he does have a high attention for detail.  But for a simple quick remodel, I feel he is pre-occupied with higher clients and does not have the time for small projects.   Which I would have been fine with if that honesty was forthright."
