"I couldn't be happier with Joe and his crew.  From first contact and the time we met to get an estimate I could tell right off the bat he knew exactly what he was talking about, and was very professional about everything.  I met with 2 other contractors, and even though Home Facelifters wasn't the cheapest, I knew that they would get the job done right and on time.  They dealt with all of the city inspectors and dealt with pulling all the permits, they helped me pick out many of the different items for the house like the cabinets, counters, appliances, flooring, and even colors for the walls.  There were some things that I thought I wanted a certain way but Joe was always willing to try and explain why another way might be better, which I do appreciate.  The payment process was very simple, we did go over our original estimate, but he had told me upfront there was a chance we would find things behind the walls that we couldn't predict, and I was prepared to possibly go over by a certain amount so that wasn't a problem.  The work was done very quickly, and the quality of everything is great.  I will definitely be using Joe and his crew on future projects of mine.

"I am very happy with the final result of my home remodel which included completing some cosmetic work in my bathroom that had been started by my husband but never finished, new Pergo floors in my hall and living room, painting in several rooms, gate installation on my front porch, new sliding glass door, new furnace and central air, and my personal favorite, a completely new kitchen. Jody, Sean and several of their employees and subcontractors worked in my home for the better part of a year. In a project of this scope, obviously there were a few issues that arose along the way but all were resolved to my complete satisfaction. When there was an occasional disagreement on an issue, Sean always ended the discussion with “don’t worry about it, I will take care of it. I want you to be happy”, a sign of a contractor willing to work with his customers to come to a fair resolution to any disagreement which to me as a consumer is everything you need to know when you hire someone to work in your home. Sean and Jody have become like family to me and I would recommend them, and I would use them again myself for any home improvement services needed."

"We recently had a complete roof replacement. Before proceeding, we did comprehensive research of area companies and Vista came out on top, with good reason! All appointments were not only on time but were extremely punctual. We met first with Product Specialist Holly, who was enthusiastic, very knowledgeable and helpful. While at our home assessing the proposed job, Project manager Rick explained the entire process in layman's terms. The day of the job, Project Supervisor Marc arrived early and went over the entire job with the crew. All company representatives left us with a business card with their cell #'s to call if we required anything. The installation crew was amazing. They arrived early and began immediately. They were no nonsense, very focused and, worked like a well oiled machine. All Vista team members were polite and respectful of my special request to be cognizant around some of my more cherished trees & shrubs. Vista was fastidious in their care for my home and lawn, not one speck of debris was left behind. Vista, the installation crew, company representatives, everyone, exceeded our expectations. "I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. I am a real person, a real customer, with no ties to the company, and was more than happy to write this review."

"Brian came by to do an estimate on my roof.  He was real quick and didn't really care about explanations and showing me things. He quickly snapped a few photos of the inside of my attic roof, and had a book full of things. I asked if he'd like to sit in the dining room to show me these, and he was like "nah, it'll be quick". Did his speech and left. I inquired about a few other things and overall the experience was okay. I deduct points as I never heard from the guy again, so I went with a different roofer for my project.
It's odd that I never heard from them, because they called me every day for months, even after I told them I didn't own the house yet as they got my information from something I filled out when getting a mortgage. Nearly everyday they called... I got harassed constantly, then once I finally was looking to get work done, I never heard anything.
About 45 days later I got a call from someone who said he was the owner and wanted to come out and give me a discount off the quote I originally received. I never called back. 
They had a decent price compared to some of the other quotes I received, and would possibly consider calling them again when I get some windows replaced.
