Whether a scullery is worth it depends on how much you like to cook and entertain. If you frequently host gatherings—a scullery is likely worth the money. If you’re looking for ROI, it’s not so clear. It may not add significant value to your home, as it doesn’t increase square footage and may repurpose space that a buyer would have preferred to remain as-is (like a laundry room). 

Onions, peppers, fish, broccoli, and fried chicken taste great—but the leftover smells can be less than appetizing. These hardworking scrubbers should be replaced every six months. Most toilet brushes have nylon bristles, and over time, these bristles can bend, fray, or fall out, reducing the effectiveness of the brush. Silicone brushes hold their shape longer, but the softer bristles are less effective at removing residue and build-up. To clean your toilet brush after use, spray it with a disinfecting cleaner and let it air dry by closing the handle under the toilet seat and letting the brush head drip into the toilet bowl.

Vinegar is an excellent cleaning ingredient for freezer parts and interior walls. Make a homemade cleaner with distilled white vinegar and warm water to thoroughly clean your freezer. It works well for cleaning up stubborn spills.
