I had been quoted an extra $500 for removing the garbage disposal, and decided not to do it. An extra guy came today who I hadnt met, and he said they could do it for $200 once they were there which I accepted, but it ended up being a ton of work, and probably should have cost the $500. In the end, they charged me the quoted amount which was very honorable. It was a bit awkward for me and my wife because the two of them obviously disagreed about the whole thing, but in the end they handled it well. I paid an extra $100 because of the mixup because clearly i got a great deal anyway. Would recommend to anyone, at least for basic kitchen plumbing work!"

"I have now had 4 pickups from this company. Each time it has been with different items: I have had my kitchen remodeled,  a deck torn down and rebuilt, a new roof put on, old fencing disc arded, and a yard cleanup. The only difference in pricing was for the roofing and even though ti was more money it was STILL CHEAPER than a dumpster!!! I don't know how these guys do it, but they pickup on time, without issue andfor the cost quoted. I have turned each of my contractors onto them - now they are using them. SO MUCH cheaper and better service than any dumpster company I have used!"

"My first experience with Julio was an after-hours discovery that my water heater was going out. I urgently called a few people, then a Boston number for "emergency plumbing." The answering service was very kind and helpful in connecting me to Julio, and through a back and forth process of texts and iphone photos I was instructed how to turn off the water. It took a couple of hours for him to arrive with an assistant named Michael. They evaluated the situation, then offered to purchase a new Hot Water Heater at Home Depot, which they did, and then offered to continue the work and were all finished that evening--a bonus for me. Although I was a bit concerned about the process of having him do that purchase, I was given the receipt from home depot and the labor and installation cost was less than I paid the last time. I paid him the total with AmEx on a portable card reader. He apologized for the condition of the invoice he gave me, since he had to re-use one and it was a bit messy. Also, I wanted to have a TACO overflow valve installed, but our communication was a bit of a challenge, and I don't believe that was done. However, he did a reasonable job of cleaning up a tough basement situation. On the basis of this work, I hired the company again to install a new faucet in the kitchen, and to replace a garbage disposal. This time I shopped for both. Michael was sent at the agreed upon time, and did a fine job on the faucet. When it was time to replace the disposal, he consulted with Julio by phone and asked if I would like him first to try to repair the disposal, quoting me a labor cost that was lower than it would be for replacement. I agreed, and he was able to find the cause of the jam and I returned the new disposal. A happy result. This time I paid by check, I will call again as the need arises. I feel they do good work, with none of the high pressure or cost that I have had in the past with others doing similar work, and they are very nice people."

"Brandon and his crew are fantastic! My wife and I are totally satisfied with his job. We did a total makeover of our kitchen and pantry, about 300 square feet total. Job included gutting to the studs, wiring, plumbing, insulation, blueboard & plaster, painting, cabinet install, custom shelving in pantry and bookcase, hardwood floor repair and refinishing. All of Brandon's subcontractors were quality people as well. Brandon made a schedule ahead of time, and held to it, even when other contractors (countertop install) threw 'monkey wrenches' into the schedule. This is very important to you when you are eating off of a hot plate!
From start to finish, Brandon communicated everything very clearly and responded promptly to any calls or emails.
No major project goes without minor glitches, but Brandon stood behind his commitment at every turn, and made sure every part of the job was up to our very high standards.
He handled all the paperwork and permitting with the town seemlessly.
His price was very reasonable, significantly less expensive than other quotes, yet his work was top-notch.

"All three jobs went great. For the water heater replacement Lewis came to my house at a convenient time for me, removed the heater changed out the rotted pipes and installed a new one with warranty. The price was great too. This job was time sensitive and he made me a priority to get it done. For the bathroom tub drain unclog he was very professional and did a great job. My garbage disposal was leaking and I came home to a pool of water in my cabinet and on the floor. Lewis came out quickly to resolve the issue for me. He replaced everything under the sink and showed me what he was doing each step of the way. I think that he is a great plumber if you want to get quality work and learn about each job too."

The new radon remediation system (Bubble Up) has the added benefit of boosting the fixture pressure in the house to city level or better (60-75psi) as well as completely resolving the pH level of the water.
The cost was slightly lower than the other two quotes we received, partially due to the fact that Absolute offered a "multi-system" discount since two systems were going in at the same time.

"At first it was suggested that the whole commode be replaced, but it was found out that the bowl was intact and that only the tank be replaced. "After noticing a steady drip from the ceiling in our basement, my wife called around to find someone to come out and take a look. We called Maguire on Tuesday, and they had an opening on Thursday 12-2pm window to come out to our house. I was home that day, and after confirming our appointment that morning, Mark from Maguire came early(!), much to my surprise and delight. After troubleshooting appliances and the sink area upstairs, not seeing any issues, he cut a small hole in the basement ceiling, and water came pouring out. The water was much more than anticipated. Mark let the water drain, and after cutting a larger section, we found the culprit: The copper hose connected to the downstairs pump was looked to have been previously pinched and gave way, creating the leak in the copper pipe. Mark clamped the hole, and he and I tested the pump. NO ISSUES ! (fingers crossed!) Mark was a professional and a gentlemen. I cannot recommend these folks enough. PUNCTUAL / PROFESSIONAL / GRACIOUS / INFORMATIVE. The price was a little high, but for the courteous service, I'd 100% do it again. Any plumbing needs going forward, I'll definitely be calling Maguire again."
