Customers say: Quick response

"He was able to get the whole 2nd floor completed in a short time constraint. Clean and ductless. Workers were courteous. They were also able to replace an additional board on short notice after the 2nd floor was finished. Floors look fantastic!!"

"We hired Tao about 6 years ago to replace the carpet in two rooms (study/large family room) and 2nd floor with pre-finished hardwood. We were pleased with the entire process from the quick turnaround on the proposal--got it before he left our house-- to the installation process and complete cleanup. Because of our earlier experience we reached out to Tao again when it was time to sand/refinish our entire first floor. We also had very worn areas by the kitchen sink and by our dog food/water dished that needed replacement. Application of the polyurethane during refinishing can be impacted by wet/rainy weather so it's important to work with someone who takes that into account. We used movers that Tao recommended --including moving our upright piano-- and were very pleased with them. I definitely will recommend Tao to anyone who is loving for expert and practical advice on installation/refinishing of hardwood floors."

Customers say: Quality work

"My floors look beautiful. I could not have hired a better company. Went with water based finish after a convention with Cliff. Worked the week I needed since the house was empty to do the whole first floor. I could not be happier with the difference from yellow orange floors from the oil based poly. Before and after color difference amazing."

"We hired them to sand, stain our wooden floors plus adding some in our closets. All very straightforward and transparent from the start, plenty of options all well explained and then they executed beautifully what promised. Highly recommended business."

Floor Sanding questions, answered by experts

A thorough land survey in Braintree should provide a stamped, detailed survey plan with clearly marked property boundaries and visible property markers. Look for accurate notes on easements, setback lines, and any conservation restrictions. The survey should meet Massachusetts standards, be properly recorded, and include clear documentation of any unique site features, like wetlands or historic elements relevant to your lot.

Helpful?

When selecting a land surveying professional in Braintree, prioritize those with experience in local boundary surveys and familiarity with the town’s permit requirements. Confirm they use advanced tools like GPS and digital mapping for accuracy. Ask about their understanding of Braintree’s zoning bylaws, request recent client references, and ensure they carry proper insurance for added peace of mind.

Helpful?

In Braintree, property line confusion, unclear easements, or plans for new construction near boundaries signal the need for a boundary survey. If you’re experiencing issues like uneven settling, water pooling, or structural cracks, these are best addressed by contractors or engineers. For uncertainty, reviewing your plat map and consulting with a local surveying professional can help clarify the right next step.

Helpful?

In Braintree, if you notice unclear or missing boundary markers, conflicting property lines on a plat map, or new construction nearby, it may be time for a new boundary survey. Changes in zoning bylaws or recent property improvements not reflected in your survey are also warning signs. If neighbors question your property lines or you’re planning additions, updated land surveying is recommended.

Helpful?

Homeowners in Braintree should account for local permit requirements, proximity to wetlands, and the influence of nearby infrastructure such as rail lines. The rocky soil and steep slopes near the Blue Hills can affect survey techniques, while seasonal weather may impact site access. If your property is within a historic district, be aware of additional guidelines that could affect your land surveying project.
