Phil and his crew were awesome. They arrived promptly and got right to work. They removed my former flooring, cleaned up, and installed the new hardwood flooring. Plastic was placed strategically so that all other areas of the house were not affected by the dust. The workers were very respectful and helpful with any questions I asked. We needed an old oak hardwood floor repaired and refinished in a room and hallway. Phil's team came on time and finished on time. The results are incredible. The floors look brand new. Also, I wanted to note they took the time to clean up the work space after each phase. Phil's quote was one of 3 and was competitive.

It was great. Phil’s workers were there on scheduled time, and did an excellent job. No dust left behind, high quality poly was used. The price was better than 3 other estimates I got and the work was much better than companies I’ve used in the past. I’ve already recommended Phil to numerous friends and neighbors. As long as Phil is in business, I won’t use any other company.

He was able to get the whole 2nd floor completed in a short time constraint. Clean and ductless. Workers were courteous. They were also able to replace an additional board on short notice after the 2nd floor was finished. Floors look fantastic!!

Called Phil for the estimate of first floor hardwood refinish. He responded my call promptly and communications were very easy and clear. He was very professional and knowledgeable and sent me a detailed quote in the same day. Due to schedule conflict, I did not hire him, but highly recommended him.

I've used Phil before and was very happy with his work. The first time I used him was to refinish some hardwood floors in my home that were in decent shape to begin with. This time, the floors I needed done were in terrible shape. They had paint dripped on them, large scratches, etc. My expectations were high but still, Phil and his team exceeded them.

Phil's price was definitely not the lowest estimate that we received but we chose him because of the good reviews. We tried to find matching hardwood that matched the rest of the house and Phil communicated with me that he tried to find a match but was not able. We settled on a very close match that was very similar. Phil was very professional and arrived promptly after job was finished to address a couple of issues which was immediately resolved. I would recommend Phil's Floor Service for those looking to install new hardwood flooring.

Phil's team did a beautiful job on our hardwood floors throughout our apartment. I'm embarrassed by the contrast with our first-floor apartment floors, which we did ourselves. Definitely professionals! We were able to schedule the floors for a weekend we could be away, and everything looked great when we returned. Really an easy and great experience.

We have unfinished hardwood floor underneath the carpet when we moved in. The carpet was old and dirty. So we decided to get rid of carpet and finish the hardwood floor. I asked a few companies to come over and take a look. Phil gives me a very competitive price and we started the work with him immediately. He finished it in 3-4 days and everything looks so beautiful. We love our floor.

After purchasing our condo we wanted to install new flooring throughout the 1800sqft unit. It is an old building, but has good bones and we wanted to restore the property to its full potential. The job is challenging because it has irregular shaped rooms and certain parts are not completely level. We had quite a number of flooring contractors come in and send us quotes, including some who are also highly rated on Angie's List. In the end, we felt most comfortable working with Phil. His pricing is very reasonable. Phil is the consummate professional. He is courteous, responsive, efficient, and punctual. His team did a fantastic job installing and finishing the flooring. We had a general contractor (not affiliated with Phil) evaluate the job, and he seconded the opinion that Phil's work is absolutely top notch. Phil is also very responsive. Unlike some other contractors Phil has a back office that is always reachable in the instances when Phil is too busy. This is very convenient because the back office has great communication with Phil. We had a number of unexpected scheduling changes. In each instance, Phil did his best to adjust his busy schedule to accommodate. He really is the most professional contractor we've ever met. Most importantly, the flooring looks great. We are very happy customers and can't recommend Phil highly enough.

Phil arrived on time quoted me a fair price for 1300 Sq. Ft. of Red Oak hardwood, sanding and two coats of poly with a cherry stain. Plus removal of old carpet and pads, and install of a new sub floor on the 2nd floor to match flush with existing wood stair (the only place in the house that had wood on the floor).

Phil was excellent. We love our floors. He was easy to work with and scheduling was a breeze. He was responsive to questions and concerns and made adjustments and suggestions as needed. The end result was a superb restoration of our floors to their natural color. We couldn't be happier with his workmanship.

Excellent. Phil got back to me. I got three quotes, his was lowest and reviews were good, so we went with him. He came over and we selected the finish. He also let me schedule to have the work done while we were on vacation. We prepped the rooms well and they came in and did the jobs while we were gone. We were very happy with their service and workmanship.

Phil was great to work with from start to finish. He was very responsive over email and text. There was a section of floor that needed to be patched and some stairs that need to be fixed and Phil was able to give me last minute quotes and took care of them without an issue. The work looks fantastic. I would highly recommend. Quality is very good and his pricing is very reasonable.

From the beginning Phil's Floor Services was great to work with. The job was finished in the time promised, and for the exact dollar amount quoted. They even replaced a broken smoke detector that they noticed on my second floor, free of charge! Definitely would hire again.
