Peter refinished the hardwood floors in our 100 year old house. He did an amazing job at a reasonable price and was very pleasant to work with. I would recommend and would 100% hire again.

Hire Peter to install our whole 1st floor. The floor look awesome. Not only Peter did a fantastic job. He is also able to accommodate to our tight schedule.

Peter was originally hired to refinish our hardwood floors. The finished result of our hardwood floors came out beyond our wishes. We were so happy with Peter and his crew, we ended up hiring him 2 more times for vinyl floor install and engineered hardwood install. Heâ s very quick to respond and was always able to accommodate our plans in a very timely manner.

Peter refinished our hardwood floors and did a great job. They look like new. Very courteous and efficient too.

We have a part of the wood floor that needed to be fixed. We previously moved a wall AC unit which then exposed the wood floor underneath. The wood originally had a darker color and look unfished. He suggested applying 3 coats of poly to fix it. He applied the first coat of Poly after sanding and asked us to look at the floor. To our horror, we could now see this dark colored wood patch and right next to it is a white colored strip. He said this was due to the wood being damaged and in order to fix this, he would have to charge us more to put in new wood. He even suggested that we should refinish the whole floor for more money. If he had told us that applying a coat of poly was not going to fix my issue from the very start, I would had make a different decision on the direction we would take. He got really agitated and angry and stormed out of the door. We had to calm him down to get him back to the house since we still wanted to work with him to figure out a solution to fix this. In the end, we decided not to go with his suggestion of changing the wood and just had him finish the 2nd and 3rd coat. When he finally came back and applied the 2nd and 3rd coat, he ended up applying the 3rd coat beyond the damaged area to my existing good conditioned floor. As a result, there are now 3 colored patch on my wood floor (dark colored section, white sanded section and an extra layer of poly on the undamaged portion of the floor). We ended up paying him the money we originally agreed on even though he was not able to fix the issue and left us with 3 colored strips to deal with. At the end of the day he did not properly assess the job and what the end product would look like and the final product looks unfinished and in need of repair. We had originally called him to give us a quote to re-do our kitchen floor and given this experience, we will be looking for other contractors.

Peter did an excellent job on our house. We have him replace our old hardwood floor and installed new floor. The floors turn out exactly what we want and itâ s beautiful . Peter is also very careful , thoughtful , and efficient in his work. We would highly recommend him .

Extremely dishonest, incompetent, said they have insurance, but did not provide the insurance information, ruin the floor, and now they are unresponsive

I highly recommend Peter's Hardwood Flooring for any refinishing project. My forty year old floors had been covered by carpet and old pet stains marred the flooring. They replaced damaged boards and returned the flooring to its previous brand new condition. Additionally, they were quite dependable and reasonably priced. You just need to be aware that although they tried to prevent a build up of dust by vacuuming and covering furniture, there was still a layer on most surfaces. It was worth it to me to save the money and do the extra cleaning. I intend to have them return in the spring for an additional project.

Quy refinished 1000+ sq/ft of hardwood floors at my house and did an excellent job. I had three bedrooms that previously had carpet installed over them. When the carpets were ripped up some of the finish started peeling. I was also especially concerned with the living areas that had gotten lighter due to constant sun exposure. Despite the varying condition my floors were in, he was able to make the floors look uniform and brand new. He even replace a couple planks that had some water damage. Overall I had a great experience with Peter hardwood floor.

I strongly hope that my review will hold for this company's future. They are amazing. Their rate beat out competitors and their job was perfect. It was fortunate that we had the work done with the house we bought completely vacant of furniture. So I do not know how well the process works with them with a furnished home, but the floors are better than expected. And we get compliments about the floor regularly. I would use this company again.

Wow, refinishing old hardwood floors is amazing! Our floors look terrific and Peter and his crew did a great job! Peter was recommended by my friend and their floors look great. Also, there was tons of rot that they replaced, a disgusting amount of staining (house was 100 years old and the floors had never been refinshed) and holes from carpet that they filled. Over all the floor look great and the price is very good compare to other company. Highly recommend.
