Unique Hardwood floor resanded and refinished a small hallway of old home (early 1900s) with original wood floors. Good condition but a few rough patches. Unique floor quickly provided estimate and scheduled work. Estimate in line with others received. Floor looks great. Rough patch is much better. Would hire again.

Very sloppy. They did not use a dustless sanding system and as a result there was dust everywhere. Also there was poly all over the baseboards so now I have to redo those.

There was a big hair inbedded in the stain, they didnt cover the hole with hard wood they only put caulking. Not happy overall with the quality.

"I am sorry that you feel this way. As we discussed in our meeting, you did not mention the hole. Please refer to the Contract. We did not state on the Contract, and the long piece of hair belongs to your Realtor agent. My guys do no have a long piece of hair."

I needed my floors buffed and poly-ed (about 1,800 sq. ft.). Within a few minutes of submitting my quote request on HomeAdvisor, Tiffany called to set up an appointment for a quote. Tiffany and Tuan were on time and provided a great quote. They were able to do the work about two days later. On **work day**, Tuan and Tiffany were on time and Tuan did an amazing job in only one day! The floors are beautiful and have such a gorgeous shine! Tuan took the time to do all of the edges, transition pieces, and stairs by hand. He cleaned up all of his tools and materials and left the house spotless. I would highly recommend Unique Hardwood Floor for quality, price, and customer service, and will definitely use them in my next house!

I have an old colonial home, full bath floor had to have asbestos taken out and cleared.It left my floor down to almost the bare bottom with planks taken out,a mess!Unique hardwood floors : Mr Tran performed a miracle .My floor is modern and brand new! He did a great job.Mr Tran and Mrs. Tran are so profession.Will let others know.

These guys charge less than any other contractors I got a quote from, but the quality of the work was not the greatest. Their sanding was not complete and thorough, and the finish work on the floors was uneven. That being said they did work to accommodate my schedule and do 2 rooms first, and then remaining rooms later, allowing me to get the job done without moving all my stuff out of the house, and with minimal disruption time.

Tiffany and Taun Tran were very easy to work with and went out of their way to please. They were very flexible with scheduling the jobs. Excellent work. Would hire them again if needed. I went with Unique Hardwood Floors because they were cheap but I got what I paid for and don't think I'd use them again. I had to have Tuan come back several times to do touch ups which could have been avoided if he had done them the first time around. He also complained when he came back, and kept saying he was busy, very busy. Well, I'm busy too! I felt he could have done the job properly the first time around and then wouldn't have needed to come back two more times. One problem was that he never put polyurethane under the fridge or the stove. He did the job in 2 days which was fast but doesn't give the floor enough time to cure before putting a heavy object like a stove or fridge back on it. I also feel like I should have gone with and he should have recommended 3 coats instead of 2 coats of poly because my floors are old and uneven so the first two layers didn't soak in, in all places and I ended up having exposed wood in sections with no polyurethane coat at all.

Even If you decide to go with us again, we would not come back. We are very picky choosing client. We received several phone call from you after hour at 9 pm for every single minute that your tenant dropped something on the floors and that you requested us to come back touch up the floors for you many times. That why Tuan has to come back touch for you again. If you could move the stove before the job began, we will take care that area for you. We do not touch!"

Unique Hardwood Floor responded quickly to my inquiry for wood floor repair. I had a triangle section of floor missing in my dining room that I needed placed to match the existing hardwood. As my house in 100 years old I did not expect a perfect match. However, I was very happy with the quality job performed by Unique Hardwood Floor! Tiffany & Tuan Tran was a delight to work with. My schedule is not the easiest to work with but they were very flexibile (even if that meant working towards ThanksGiving and Christmas as that is how far this job extended!). Great attention to detail and was willing to adapt to changes on the fly (whether that meant adding a new job, bad weather, schedule adjustment, etc. they were totally for making sure the consumer was happy). Along with the warranty given, this was truly a great experience for my first home. Job well done and I look forward to working with you both in the future.

Estimates and timing were fast, but the overall work was terrible. Stain did not come close to original floors and the stain was put in sloppy. Lots of streaks, on my walls and fridge. The repair looks worse than what the damage was to begin with... Called them and they said they told me it wouldnt match...sent them pictures of just how bad it was. Said they could come back but do not ever want to work with them again

Tuan did an amazing job turning my beat-up stained, ugly staircase ( had been covered in carpeting over 20 years) into a honey-gold thing of beauty! His wife Tiffany kept me posted every step of the way & answered my calls/texts immediately! The price was very reasonable.
