"I have used Mason Works on a previous project in 2017 (new stone wall and front step repair) and was very happy with their work. This project was to replace driveway including matching previous stone wall, add granite curbing to right side and complete replacement of existing asphalt. Stone wall is great, granite curbing is great but does not fully match in size or color (they explained that this is typical when ordering granite) and driveway really is just OK. They use a more course asphalt mi than you'd typically see and they explained that it lasts longer. My issues with driveway: • Driveway not evenly smooth, quite a few rougher spots • Section on side of driveway that you can see it's not evenly rolled • They said to wait 5 days to park on it and I waited 3 weeks instead but there are several tire marks already from parking on it"

"Chris did an excellent job! I got many different quotes through companies from Google and HomeAdvisor but felt Chris could do the job the best. He took out an old walkway, built a new walkway down a different area in my front yard then added a new retaining wall and granite steps from my driveway to my front door. He also put in a circle kit near my front door and put in a granite mailbox post. Everything came out perfect! Chris is a very hard worker, great communicator and I am very satisfied with the work he did. I would hire him again!"

"I hired Eligio & Sons Masonry and Landscaping to build a retaining wall in my yard, and overall I?m really happy with how it turned out. The area had been sloping and starting to wash out, so we needed something solid to hold everything back. Eligio came out to take a look, explained a few options, and gave a fair estimate. The crew showed up when they said they would and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. They worked hard and you could tell they knew what they were doing. The wall came out straight, solid, and looks a lot better than what was there before. They also cleaned up the area pretty well once the job was finished. Like any project there were a couple small details we talked through along the way, but Eligio was easy to communicate with and made sure things were done right. The start date was never communicated. The workers just showed up on day. Upon completion of the wall, completing the backfill behind the wall took several visits, with the final results looking messy."

We hired this exceptional shop to replace all the old knob and tube wiring (along with switching out a number of light fixtures and installing several ceiling fans) in our 120-year-old Victorian home – a challenging job that a couple of other electricians didn’t feel confident undertaking. Owner Jack McCurdy personally came to size up the job and give us a detailed estimate, and his professionalism, courtesy and extensive knowledge sold us. What was originally thought to be a two-week job was finished in six working days as foreman Joe Costain efficiently deployed his crew and brought in a second crew on a few days to expedite the work. Joe was great at communicating what kind of activity we could expect day-to-day, especially as both my wife and I are working from home fulltime during the COVID pandemic. "After at least 30 years of major wear and tear, our bluestone patio around our swimming pool required a MAJOR restoration. The bids we got from folks ranged widely, but only Ion seemed to understand what it would take and came in with a more than reasonable bid. This was no small project and took over two weeks to complete, and every step of the way Ion and his one-person crew were on the job promptly each morning and took care to consult us on every issue that came up. He also took the time to make certain we could deal with various daily tasks and even a major crisis (our water heater tank broke, flooding the basement in week two -- meaning they had to deal with heavy traffic in and around their working area at times).
