We have a large retaining wall (10 foot high, more than 25 ft long) at the back of our property in Lynn that we knew we had to be replaced when we bought our house, and struggled to find someone who would even take on a project of that complexity — until we met Mario and MACH Landscaping. He had done another retaining wall close to our house for a neighbor that looked beautiful. Mario let us know a clear timeline and price upfront, dealt with a major demolition hurdle that he could only discover after he started excavation, and was a pleasure to work with. He gave good advice about height and different options. He also created a new stone staircase for us into the lot next door. We would recommend him and his team to anyone. The pricing was reasonable. He made a big job look easy, and we’re grateful.

Mario and his crew did an incredible job on our very large project, encompassing a back patio, stairs down to stone walkway on side with retaining wall, and a total redo of front stairs, walkway and front porch. Mario and his crew are very skilled, professional, hard working, and timely. They always solicited input, were open to making adjustments to plan along the way, and when solicited for design advise offered up a wealth of knowledge! He also moved two 23 year old trees. Recommend highly!!

Mario helped us completely transform our outdoor space, from garage demo to grading, large tree removal, installing fencing, new field stone steps, field stone retaining wall with bench and approximately 800 sq feet of pavers, among other smaller projects. Being the daughter of a GC and having done numerous projects inside our home, we have had a lot of exposure to contractors and sub-contractors. Working with Mario was the best experience. If you’re looking for someone who will do what they say, when they say it, and performs high quality work, then look no further. Besides the work itself Mario spent numerous hours discussing and planning the project with us, always happy to answer any questions we had and would discuss, in advance, any changes or options that came up. We will continue to use Mario for projects that arise, and have and will continue to recommended him to friends and family.

I can't say enough good things about Mario and his team. Mario was extremely responsive and showed up when promised. He listened to what I was hoping to achieve and offered his expertise/ideas to ensure the finished project was both functional and beautiful. The final result exceeded my expectations. Mario and his team installed a patio with a walkway, planted a wall of trees along our fence for privacy, dug out and framed around our swingset filling it with mulch, and dug out a section of weeds in our driveway replacing it with stones. We could not be happier with the end result. Our backyard has been completely transformed and Mario's vision guided us through the process. The team was very detailed and made sure that everything was meticulously done to perfection. The service was very professional and everything was reasonably priced. The work went exceptionally well. The contractor came up with a good idea on how to access a difficult backyard location. He and his crew phenomenal.

We had a patio in our backyard that was supported by railroad ties which were now rotted. Mario and his crew dug out the ties, and put in stone to support the patio. So much better! He also put in an eight foot Japanese Maple for us, which is absolutely beautiful. He's always done ahead of schedule and on budget. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Mario was incredibly responsive - he contacted us right after we posted our job, and came out to meet us the next day. His cost was reasonable, and the work was impeccable. We had a couple of odd additions we asked about (fence work and retaining wall) and he and his team handled it with ease. Our project was completed sooner than we anticipated, and we were very happy with all of the work. We will 100% be using Mario’s services in the future and we can recommend for any projects that he can handle.

Mario was very responsive from the beginning. Throughout the course of the project he would respond to calls/text within a couple hours. The finished project came out beautifully and met our expectations. This was due to the level of communication that Mario demonstrates in order to ensure both parties are on the same page. He and his crew arrived on time on the day they completed the project and worked diligently throughout the day to get it done within the 1-day. They were respectful to the surrounding lawn to ensure to not damage it during their work. You could tell that Mario and his team take pride in their work because of all the finishing details they put on the project. Would hire these guys again!

Great work , everything came out how I asked for ....

Mario was wonderful to work with. We needed our front yard graded away from the house, the height of the window wells increased, crushed stone brought in to make beds, an old damaged wall removed, and the area to be re-seeded for grass. He was incredibly quick to respond to my initial request, and got an estimate back to me days later, even over a holiday weekend. He set a date to start work, but was actually able to start a day earlier, worked around the town water main replacement going on next to my house and finished in -four- days. He also set up all the hoses/sprinklers to water the seed. I have never had any job with a contractor go as smoothly as this did, and I'm still surprised at how well it all went. I would certainly hire him again in the future for landscaping work.

They did a great a job. They were able to re do everything in 3 weeks. The price was very fair.

Excellent job, the stone benches were cemented into the ground, and are now safe and firm. The landscaping was done professionally which included time consuming details like taking seeds out of the ground to prevent weeds from growing. My yard looked very upscale after the service was done.

Mario was an amazing contractor. And the people he hired were wonderful. Communicative, thorough, clean, efficient, professional and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
