They added matching hardwood to areas that did not have hardwood and interlaced hardwood in areas that needed to be extended. They sanded and buffed all of the hardwood, and then applied four coats of poly. We trusted them with our house while we moved out for those four days. We highly recommend them for anyone requiring new hardwood installation as well as refinishing existing hardwood flooring. they are the best!!!"

"We had just purchased a home with two floors that were nearly completely Hardwood, some spots had some gouges, some spots had scuffing, and all of it needed a good refinishing. Hired Superior Hardwood to go through top to bottom (stairs included), sand it all down, patch some areas, and apply several coats of oil based polyurethane over the course of about a week. The results are fantastic, and my wife and I are both very pleased. The floors look absolutely beautiful and the new look was worth every penny. All of the work was done by the owner (Cliff) and one employee, and you can tell they know what they're doing and take pride in their work. "I would use Luxe again without hesitation and I highly recommend them. Max is a very good listener and communicator. He is straightforward and honest. He makes it clear right from the start that his goal is to satisfy the customer. He went over every detail in depth to make sure the final result would be exactly what I wanted. He did that all before he gave me the price quote. No hidden charges, no surprises. He was prompt to every appointment and he was always reachable by phone and email. At the last minute I asked him to do some extra threshold remodeling work that was beyond the scope of the agreed upon work. He did it, with excellent craftsmanship and all for a marginal cost. The floor is over 100 years old and previously had a yellowing urethane finish. This latest Luxe sanding is probably the last before the floor is retired. I asked Max to go as light as he could on the sanding. I also chose the Bona HD Traffic, clear urethane. The final result was fully to my satisfaction. It completely transforms the space, is an enormous improvement and very attractive. Upon very close inspection, with just the right angle of light reflection, it is possible to see a little floor flatness waviness in some areas. Certainly not enough to be noticeable to any but the most critical observers and does not take away from my satisfaction with the quality of the work. This most likely is due to the previous yellowing urethane covering up some existing flatness details of the floor."
