He makes it clear right from the start that his goal is to satisfy the customer. He went over every detail in depth to make sure the final result would be exactly what I wanted. He did that all before he gave me the price quote. No hidden charges, no surprises. He was prompt to every appointment and he was always reachable by phone and email. At the last minute I asked him to do some extra threshold remodeling work that was beyond the scope of the agreed upon work. He did it, with excellent craftsmanship and all for a marginal cost. The floor is over 100 years old and previously had a yellowing urethane finish. This latest Luxe sanding is probably the last before the floor is retired. I asked Max to go as light as he could on the sanding. I also chose the Bona HD Traffic, clear urethane. The final result was fully to my satisfaction. It completely transforms the space, is an enormous improvement and very attractive. Upon very close inspection, with just the right angle of light reflection, it is possible to see a little floor flatness waviness in some areas. Certainly not enough to be noticeable to any but the most critical observers and does not take away from my satisfaction with the quality of the work. This most likely is due to the previous yellowing urethane covering up some existing flatness details of the floor."
