Century Carpet is owned by husband and wife Jean & Christine Coutu. They have been in the flooring business for over 30 years. Even before graduating high school Jean was installing, and learning the business, Jean worked many years for other stores in the area, with the help of his wife Christine. The couple decided though that the only way they can be sure the customer is taken care of properly, is to handle everything personally from sale to installation. With that thought in mind on October 1st, 1986 Century Carpet was born. Since then Jean & Christine have worked hard to build their business, and their reputation. Century Carpet has made it's home in Ayer, Massachusetts for over 20 years. During that time they have built the business, and raised their three children. They taught all three of their children the flooring business. Their oldest son Brian runs one of the installation teams, and their youngest son Kyle is working his way up to flooring mechanics as well.
