Eddy was FANTASTIC they were very easy to work with, extremely knowledgeable and allowed us to source our own parts to save us a few bucks where we could. Our older central unit has NEVER worked so well as it does now after their work. I plan on hiring them many more times for other properties I have.

They were fine. It was more costly than I expected. I have no complaints about anything they did though. It would have $1,100 if I would have gone with the 6 year warranty. The prices seemed high for that little of extra work.

My experience was great.  They are just terrific people and their price is right.  They are personable.  Once a customer starts using them, they know them by first name basis.  It is easy to get them in there to help the customer out.  For free installation, it took a while to get them.  They got more work due to new customers.  They are very responsive.

Repaired in 2 hr. time frame which was expected.  However, was surprised with the final bill.  I was told a year ago that the firebox was cracked and needed to be replaced.  When asked how much it would cost, I was told $350.00.  When work was done, I was charged $600.00.  He told me the price for the parts had increased $25.00 so the parts cost me $375.00.  That was ok, but the labor was $100.00 an hour. When I asked how much the cost would be a year ago, I didn't realize that did not include the labor.  I guess that was my fault for not being more specific and asking if labor was included.  I would have thought he would have told me the total cost included labor and parts.  Lesson learned; I'll be more specific in my questions in the future.

I have been using the Service Department South for about five years now. They replaced the original heating and hot water equipment in our circa 1930s home with a new oil-fired forced hot water boiler and indirect-fired water heater. Additionally we have used them to service the above mentioned equipment for five years. I also used them to install a flow-check valve that the (idiot) plumber we used for our basement renovation forgot to install, to replace a leaking master bedroom radiator pipe, and to remove/re install the bathroom radiator for our bathroom renovation.
Both Eddie and Willie are fantastic individuals. They always perform the work in a timely manner for a reasonable price. They always clean up any mess they make but are careful not to create a mess in the first place. They responded to my only "no hot water" emergency in just a few hours on a weekend. The pricing for our new equipment was very competitive with other estimates. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, my wife (and daughter) are extremely comfortable being alone in the home with either Eddie or Willie. I have recommended them to several friends and neighbors.
