So pleased! My ugly amber red oak floors have been transformed into a beautiful sand color that Vlad was able to replicate from a photo, perfectly by custom mixing stains and applying a perfect satin finish. Sasha was amazing, they started the job on the day they said they would and worked every day until it was finished. Top quality products, professional, polite, extremely hard working, always responsive, meticulous work. You won't be disappointed. Sasha was also able to coordinate the moving company to move my furniture and they were top notch as well :) Thank you guys for all your hard work and patience! We did try many color samples and ended up choosing the first custom color Vlad created! Dust free also.

They showed up wearing masks at ALL time, since safety is a #1 priority right now. They were VERY professional and did an excellent job bringing my 17 yr old hardwood floors to life. Floors were sanded, but there wasn't any excess dust and they allowed me to select several colors for stain samples before deciding which color I like. I LOVE my floors! I would definitely recommend them.

Excellent. Exceeded our expectations. Weles dealt with challenging subfloor conditions- uneven concrete slabs and wood subfloors. And they managed to make our new wide-plank wood floor installation level and beautiful. No transitions were required! They use high-performance products and equipment. I am an architect, so I am familiar with the process. We solicited quotes from multiple contractors, and Weles made the best impression on us. They took the time to listen and consider our options. Sasha and his team were amazing and a pleasure to have in our home. It was one of our favorite experiences of our home renovation/addition project.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about about the crew at Weles! From first contact, Sasha was incredibly helpful. I knew what I wanted the floors to look like, but didn’t know what type of wood I wanted or if I should go with pre-finished or not, and he took took the time to explain the benefits of various options, cost differences and recommendations. Pricing was competitive, and the work was quick! Our entire second floor (about 1000sqft) was finished in about 1 week, and the finished product is incredible!

Weles very successfully completed a large residential project for us in Boston, which included restoring pine floors on three floors, installing new engineered wood floors in the below-grade basement, and restoring the stairs throughout. We have several antiques, so we wanted the floor finish to be high quality. The outcome exceeded our expectations. Before choosing Weles, we met and discussed the project with several contractors. We were impressed with how knowledgeable they were, and they really wanted to understand our needs before committing to the project. That thoughtful approach played out as they delivered constructive solutions to the inevitable surprises that arise in projects such as ours. Also, they worked with us to accommodate an emergency in our move-in schedule which was greatly appreciated. We found the young men from Weles to be hard-working, trustworthy, professional and a pleasure to work with so we recommend them highly.

We just had Weles Flooring finish the wood floors in our home and we could not be happier with the results! We are really happy with the refinishing of our kitchen, dining room and connected staircases. Sasha's fast, informative and cordial correspondence always made us feel like valued customers even as our project had a few changes prior to starting the job, we had to considerations to note and the job was set out for a few months. He and / or his staff were consistent in daily start times and were readily available during the day when we needed to communicate. They went above beyond in ensuring the quality of the job and our satisfaction. Our floors look beautiful!

Sasha and his team were professional throughout the entire project. They showed up on time, communicated during the project, and the end result was fantastic. These guys from WELES are very hard working and efficient. We had deep scratches about three feet long on hardwood floor made by some tools which we didn't know and which could not be filled or repaired easy. The problem was we didn't know the brand of hardwood to match texture with rest of the floor. Besides, we wanted it to get it done quickly since we were going to put our house on sale. Sasha was the first guy who looked at the floor and evaluated how it could be repaired. He suggested hardwood replacement around the area of scratches. After having three contractors look at it, we hired WELES because they were more convincing and reasonable than the others. Two days later, the day fix was scheduled, Alex, another guy from same company came with the hardwood with exact match with our floor. He had come later in the afternoon from another project that day as we had previously agreed. Alex worked finely and very efficiently, I could only admire his workmanship. He was very hardworking and fixed our hardwood better than we expected.

Very happy with results! Needed stairwell landings refinished after having tiles removed. Stair treads were also well worn. Alex and Vlad did a meticulous job making everything uniform. They also buffed and recoated my floors after painters had made a mess, again doing a very detail oriented job. Even happy with the quote: very specific, named products they were going to use, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Very well for a small fee they moved our large furniture items. The floor looks awesome.

The results are fantastic, and they did a great job of matching the existing wood floors in the adjacent hall. The HEPA filters used during the sanding process worked extremely well too. They were on time for all appointments, courteous, professional and performed all work to our satisfaction for the agreed upon price. We would highly recommend them for finishing hardwood floor projects.

Sasha was very prompt and responsive, came quickly to quote, turned around an estimate fast and fit us into the schedule to meet out tight timelines. He kept the project moving and on track and communicated via text regularly. His partner Vlad’s work was exceptional. He was very helpful in final color selection offering several tests and even trying custom combinations to try darker and lighter combinations. Same for the final finish and they even lowered the luster to exactly where we wanted and the final finish came out just as we had hoped. If you are considering having your floors refinished you must give these guys a call. It was an excellent experience.

We recently purchased a 60-year-old home, and the floors showed the years of wear. We reached out to Weles to have them refinish the floors. Wow! What a difference - the floors look almost new. Moreover Sasha, Alex and the entire team at Weles were professional and skilled - they offered suggestions on how best to repair some problem areas, worked to accommodate my schedule and ensured we were totally satisfied. Highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Weles Wood was truly excellent. We decided on the Loba organic oil and then 3 coats of water-based poly (Bona). Sasha took the time to explain the products and the entire process to me. Vlad did the work and was both expert and professional. They clearly know the business very well and care about delivering excellent results. Our floor went from ugly grey patches to absolutely beautiful!

Sasha and his refinishing expert, Val, were a fantastic team to work with. We were on a very tight schedule in getting ready for a real estate open house. I requested a quote on Tuesday, they tarted work on Wednesday and worked until 9:00 pm to complete all the sanding. They remaking flexable and focused working through the weekend to complete the job in time for the next step in our preparation for sale, cleaning the carpets. A very professional and customer focused team I whole heartedly recommend. The real estate agent and photographer arrived Tuesday and complimented the refinished floor as one of the best they had seen. Open house will be as planned this weekend. Weles did an excellent job with the floors of our new home. At the start of the process, Sasha came by to examine our floors and explain what the work would entail. He also stopped by a few weeks later to drop off wood swatches stained with different colors / seals, and then yet again to look at photos of floor colors we were considering. Sasha accommodated our busy schedule graciously in each instance, and came by in the evenings when we were home. Vlad and Alex performed the actual floor work, and were a pleasure to work with. They were prompt, professional, and courteous, and kept us informed of progress and their anticipated schedule each day. Sanding was performed meticulously and cleanly, with little to no dust accumulation in the house. They also put down numerous color samples so that we could see how they looked on our floors, and sent us photos of these swatches in different lighting conditions throughout the day for viewing while we were at work. Perhaps most importantly, Alex and Vlad sought our feedback and approval every step of the way, making sure we were satisfied before moving on to the next stage. We ultimately decided on an oil seal for the floor with a darker stain for the stair treads, and the resultant floors/treads are gorgeous, with an even, furniture-smooth finish. Vlad and Alex are true perfectionists, and obviously take great pride in their work. We recommend Weles highly if you are looking to have any work done on your hardwood floors. You will not find another team that is more hardworking, patient, and caring of your floor and your satisfaction with the final results. You'll be very happy with Weles's service and the exemplary quality of their workmanship. We look forward to working with them again for future projects.

I am in a process of kitchen remodel and after removing three layers of flooring (two different layers of vinyl tiles and one layer of ceramic tiles) found an original, 90-year old heart pine wood floor. I decided to call a pro to see if it can be saved and refinished. Some of the boards were quite damaged (holes, gouges, gaps, missing pieces etc.) I tried calling several companies, but none was as responsive as Weles. After I called, Sasha came to my house the same night to take a look at the floor and measure. He sent me an estimate the next day and got me on a schedule the following week to do the work. It took two days to complete, the crew arrived early in the morning just as they said they would. They were all very polite and professional. They didn’t leave until they finished what needed to be done, so they stayed until 6:30pm the first day, sanding away and applying the first coat of the finish. The replacement board they had brought with them weren’t quite matching (turns out this flooring is hard to find these days), but they were able to quickly locate and bring another set of boards that looked exactly like the ones I had, which made me very happy. They carefully cut out the damaged pieces and filled the gaps with the replacement pieces before sanding (they do dustless sanding, which is pretty cool) and applying the finish. The result is a beautiful looking floor. We are very happy with the work Weles did. I highly recommend giving Sasha a call if you need your floors repaired/refinished.

We hired Weles Flooring to refinish our existing wooden floor stain to a darker stain. Sasha was very easy to get in contact with and even came over to see the project on the same evening. Alex and Vlad came in for the actual work and both were very diligent and worked long hours to make sure everything was done right. They even sampled two different stains for us since we were conflicted which shade to use. We had two tricky spots (under fridge and under our washer) and they found a good solution to make sure the staining was done right. We absolutely love the re-finished floors, they look amazing a huge difference from our earlier ones. Great Work!
