"I called for a free estimate, Justin came promtly and inspected the chimey. He showed me pictures of the problems and spelled out all the options. I explained to him that my cellar has floode due the problems and was anxious to get the repairs done. Justin quoted a price that was fair and much lower then any other estimates. To my surprise he said that he could do the job that day. He kept sending me pictures as the work progressed so I knew exactlywhat he was doing. He was professional and honest about what needed to be done. I was more then pleased with him and the company. I highly recommend .Chimneys are us."

"I hired Vonderhaar to replace the fireplace flashing on my roof. Once the down payment check cleared my bank on 7/16/25 and I did not receive a phone call from Vonderhaar to schedule the work, I contacted the company on 7/18 to schedule. The office staff would not schedule a work date and was unable to provide an estimated date for the work. I was told my place on their list of jobs, which was into the teens. Based on what I was told I could only assume the work would be at least 2 weeks out. On the afternoon of 7/23, I arrive at my home to find a work crew on my roof. I had no advance notice or even same-day notification that work would be performed on that day. The workers did not speak English so another person had to arrive in order to communicate with me. I also did speak with the office staff, who was very dismissive and frankly, did not seem to care. The crew used shingles that did not match the existing shingles on my roof. NEVER AGAIN VONDERHAAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

"Purchased a home in June 2018, on which Jent had JUST replaced the roof from wind damage. As new buyers we even picked out the color as it was being installed during the sale. Less than 6 months into owning the new home, the roof started leaking by a kitchen window with water running directly into an outlet. Husband disconnected the outlet and I called Jent. They said someone would be in touch. Nothing. I called again and they said there is no warranty for a new owner. Warranty doesn't transfer but they would have a project manager contact me. Nothing. Called again and "someone would be in touch"... That was in July. Had a roof inspector confirm that it was an installation issue. They do not stand behind their work. They do not communicate. I hope this review helps when considering a roofing contractor."
