"the job took to long, was not properly cleaned up and I think the price was to high. It took 3 days to finish a 1 day job and caulking was left inside and all over my water hose and wall outside. It took over 2 hours to clean up and there is still dried up caulk inside the utility closet and the outside wall. The person doing the job could hardly walk said he had pain in his leg and said he could not bend down. He did not have any thing to clean up the mess ( rags, vacuum, etc ). There are globs of caulking in the utility closet and he could not sand all of it. This was a poor job overall and with the mess left I really feel there should be some kind of refund for this job. While it is possible to paint over wallpaper, it’s not always ideal. If the wallpaper is firmly adhered, has no bubbling or peeling, and isn’t textured, you can try to prime and paint over it. Low-quality wallpapers with weaker adhesives are also more likely to fall off prematurely.

When comparing peel-and-stick wallpaper and traditional wallpaper, each has its own pros and cons—the one that’s better for you depends on your needs and space. Peel-and-stick wallpaper is more budget-friendly and easier to install, while traditional wallpaper lasts much longer and can be used in a wider variety of spaces.

It depends on the construction of your wall. Most handypeople can fix small holes in drywall. If your wall is plaster or brick, more significant damage may require a drywall contractor or a mason. Hiring a handyperson costs less than a more specialized type of contractor, but they’re not trained in all types of wall repairs.
