Neon's bid was $2,700. we chose Neon at Quality Custom Finish out of Lawrenceburg, KY. Neon started on time and fished on time. his communication was great and the quality of work was amazing. Neon is highly knowledgeable, hardworking and has a great personality. I should note that others wanted a large down payment before starting our project. Neon did not ask or require a down payment we paid him when the job was complete. my wife and I love our enclosed deck and God blessed us with Neon. we would highly recommend him to anyone."

"This is an amazing father / son team. I had a leak at the base of my toilet that went undiscovered until the wood around the floor was damaged. The toilet was literally sitting sideways. I had the hardest time finding anybody to do the work. I took a chance and went to Home Advisor and put my information in. Tom returned my call right away and scheduled a time to come and look at the job that needed to be done. I had a quote for the work that evening and the price was what I considered reasonable, especially for the work that needed to be done. They replaced the old flooring, installed a new toilet, and put down fresh linoleum. They did a beautiful job and had it complete in no time flat! Both gentlemen were professional, polite, and very knowledgeable. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I will be hiring them to do more jobs in my home. "This man hasn?t had a review since 2020 for a reason. SAVE YOUR MONEY! This man has great workers but is unprofessional himself. He?s added on additional cost for things we had already paid for & argued with us we didn?t even when his workers mentioned that we did indeed already paid for the material as well as labor. We paid for doors within the contract as the basement finish & he said we didn?t and that the finish was just muddying the drywall & we would have to pay for doors and labor to put them on. After we signed the contract with doors included and I paid $1260 for the finishing phase. He?s only on time to collect money & nothing else. He threatened to quit in the middle of the job after I had to argue that I paid for light fixtures and he refused to even consider that I did even when my wife as a witness stated we did. When he threatened to quit I said what about the rest of my material and what I paid and he stated well you got some of it. BAD FOR BUSINESS & WE HAVE PROOF! "

You cannot tile directly over hot mop waterproofing because tile requires a smooth, solid surface to adhere properly. Additionally, the shower bed pan needs to be raised and sloped toward the drain to prevent water from pooling. However, you can hot mop and apply a sloped mortar bed over the top (to which the tile can then be adhered). 

You have creative freedom when it comes to your tile trim. If, however, you are considering skipping tile trim, please think twice about that. It is good practice to install tile trim, whether on walls or flooring. Think, too, about the aesthetic you are going for and choose a trim type and color that will help enhance the space.

The difference between floor and wall tiles is that floor tiles generally have higher strength and porosity ratings than wall tiles. Wall tiles are typically weaker and more likely to crack or become damaged under sustained pressure like high foot traffic. 

For this reason, avoid using wall tiles on floors and vice versa.

Tile costs vary by material; for example, ceramic tends to be more affordable than stone. These influence installation timelines and skill requirements.

The number of shower niches you need (or want) depends on the size of the shower and how many bathroom products you plan on storing. If you keep it simple with just soap and shampoo, the one shower niche will probably do the trick. But if you’re adding scrubs and soaks, you may need to think about installing two or more.
