In the past he's moved a gas pipe that was in a terrible place in my storage room to help get it out of the way, and installed and perfectly leveled a fussy ice maker at the bar. "Just received a bill of $370 for them to come into my home and break 1 of our 2 toilets as we had guests from out of town coming the next night to stay with us through the weekend. I was then informed it would cost $600 to fix what THEY broke and I would have to schedule another visit. I was not informed prior to them completing work there was a potential risk the toilet would be broken. They were invited in to diagnose a plumbing issue and did not bring the proper equipment to do so. They said they would diagnose the issue on the next scheduled visit to fix the toilet. I was considering spending thousands to work with McElroy's as I had HVAC and plumbing issues that needed addressed and annual servicing. On top of that, it has been two weeks since they visited and I have not received a quote for the plumbing or HVAC. Unbelievable this is how customers are treated and refused to make this right when I called."

"One sewer issue was outside. Plumber located the problem which was not a blockage per se but rather and offset connection between the city sewer line and the line exiting our home. This was corrected. Second sewer blockage identified by sewer inspection turned out to be a corroded pipe on a lateral feeding into the main sewer line. This was indoors and required breaking out concrete to get to the repair. The plumbers were just as surprised as I was to find the specific corrosion and its location. Once identified, they were able to install new PVC pipe. The third item was a rusted hot water heater. They told me they had a flat rate of replacing these units. All billing was as I had expected. They arrived the same morning I notified them of the problem and installed a new water heater. Overall satisfied, and I would use them again if my primary plumber (one of their cousins) was not available. (Their cousin had referred me to them.)"
