11/22 called for leak from spout in shower, we agreed to total replacement of the fixtures$450 and 5 months later we have the exact same problem. Called to have them fix their work and said it would be 120per hour just to come out. We have used this company for many years. Heating, cooling, sewer, and plumbing. NO MORE! It should not cost me more money if the work only lasts 5 months!!

I did it through the home warranty so I really have no idea outside of the service fee that they charged us, which was $75.

They told me to how to help that from happening and I’ve done that and it has helped. So the advice and suggestions they gave me worked.

All the jobs that were done except two were simple, common plumbing jobs. The 2 more "advanced" jobs were installing the dishwasher and replacing the rear hydrant. I had misgivings about his work from the beginning, as this plumber did not appear to have a lot of confidence verbally or in his actions.
So when he wanted to remove the diverter in the kitchen faucet, I was concerned that he may not know what he was doing. Nor did I like the plastic parts on the new hydrant he put in the back. And when it came time to put the dishwasher in, my husband didn't like the styling of the Bosch unit since you couldn't see the button controls, so he asked this plumber to angle the unit so he could see the buttons.
After the plumber left, I called Bosch and asked if that was correct to do because it didn't look correct to me (the wife!). Bosch said the controls are supposed to be hidden and that the unit needed to be level. So here is my question: Why didn't the plumber tell my husband this? I came to find out that this plumber was a seasoned plumber who had been doing this for many years. He either lacked the verbal confidence to explain this to my husband, or he just didn't know. When I called Ace to get another plumber out the next day, the gentleman was very defensive of this plumber and made me feel like I was a bad customer. Originally, I had thought the plumber angled the dishwasher himself and not because of my husband's ill-advised request, so I was asking the gentleman how come the plumber would not know how to install the dishwasher properly. When he found out it was my husband's request, I still asked why the plumber didn't explain to my husband why that was not a good idea.
When another plumber came out the next day, he was very defensive of that plumber too. But I had him check all of the other work anyway.
Now, a year later, I had to have the back hydrant replaced again by a different company (5/27/15 - find my positive review under a different plumber company!). It turns out that during the soldering process, the Ace plumber accidentally got some soldering material into the hydrant, and it could no longer shut the water off.
In sum, this was a bad experience because: the plumber had poor communication with the customer, he did some faulty work, and the company made me out to be the bad guy (or girl, actually). I should also say that I didn't yell at the plumber or the gentleman I called the next day. I was professional. But I was very concerned about the plumber not knowing how to do the work or for listening to a customer over his own good judgment.

They were good. They were very prompt and left the work area clean when they were finished. They check our furnace and air conditioner every spring and fall.

A sink in the basement shares a drain with another sink and dishwasher upstairs. Lately, waste water from the dishwasher was backing up into the basement sink. This happens every few years. I called Ace Plumbing and they scheduled a truck for a time that was convenient for me. I got a call a few minutes before the two workers arrived. We talked about the problem briefly and they got to work. In about an hour they had opened up the drain downstream from the basement sink. I wrote them a check and they left for the next job.
This was a simple job that was done well enough. The workers were prompt, courteous, tidy and knowledgeable. The cost was in line with what I have paid in the past when I have used Ace and some other companies.

After removing the unit to get to the clog, the tech claimed he wouldn't be able to get it reinstalled and I'd have to get a new one. My kitchen was torn up and I'd already incurred the service fee, so I had little choice. (He just happened to have a new one in his truck.) I learned my lesson. I've returned to my old reliable, Kastl Plumbing.

We bought a house recently and I wanted a gas cook top. The week they were supposed to do the work, they called and asked to reschedule because their parts didn't come in. This actually worked out fine because the storm the night before took out a tree limb in the neighboring yard and we were without power for 5 days. When the guy arrived I asked him if he could do 2 additional things that had come up since we got power back. I understood that he may not have time if he said no. I was very happy to hear he could do the two extra small jobs. He ran the gas line to the cook top, fixed a leaking valve leading to the washing machine and replaced the connector for the dishwasher so we could get our new dishwasher installed. Unfortunately he couldn't complete the cook top install that day because the old electric one was hard wired in. Their return to complete the hook-up was quick.
I've used Ace before for appliance repair and was pleased. I will definitely be using their services again and recommend them to any who ask.

Thorough , prompt and professional. The first plumber the warranty referred us to was going to be 3 days before they got to us.....when I balked at that they went to Ace and Ace was here, did the work and was gone by slightly after lunch.
Top notch and a great company. Will definitely go back to them whenever I can.

They always do good work. The workman are courteous, friendly, knowledgeable about the product and their services, I always feel comfortable and safe while they are in my home. I have a maintenance agreement with them which includes the two inspections and one free pound Freon. I have been very happy with them. They seem to be very responsive when I call them. They usually come out the day I call or the next day.

Their service was great as usual. He also performed a pressure test which indicated that the PSI was too high. We have learned to trust their judgement so have scheduled to have a regulator installed. The PSI issue may explain why our outside water faucet turned on by itself one day last summer!
