Blue Duck Plumbing and Drain Cleaning

Blue Duck Plumbing has done a great, professional, and expert job with any plumbing project I've had over the last 5 years (especially Philip). He sourced and replaced my house water filter's carbon tank, along with installing some extras to make replacing annual sediment filters an easier task. In the past he's moved a gas pipe that was in a terrible place in my storage room to help get it out of the way, and installed and perfectly leveled a fussy ice maker at the bar. He always gives friendly quotes and expert advice, is patient when going over any instructions, cleans up after the work, and he's training his fellow plumbers to do all of those same things. I will always trust Blue Duck Plumbing for any plumbing project.

They're really nice. He repaired the water heater and he did it quickly. I will. He was also very informative and that was very helpful.

Excellently...it is now all A-OK! Both plumbers were respectful, considerate (came with shoe covers so as to be thoughtful of the customer's flooring)and repairs were explained along with optional ways to address it and approximate cost. This helped me make my decision as to what I felt I needed and or cold afford. No surprises.

Nicholas and Daniel checked things over, decided that the disposal was a goner. (It hadn't worked for years.) I had to agree with their judgment. We discussed a new one and installation (I have installed the things, but had no desire to this time); and possible necessity for further de-plugging of the drain. I agreed; they got to work; and were finished in no time. The disposal works; the water drains; and their clean up was excellent. They were relaxed, friendly, and very competent. I should have called months ago, and certainly plan to use the company any time that I need plumbing service. My N/A rating for price is because I hadn't done comparison shopping and don't really know. Considering that it included both the garbage disposal and installation, it seemed fair to me.

I call Blue Duck for all of my plumbing issues, and they are always quick to respond, courteous, and professional. They are also very conscientious about your home, and they charge a fair price. I can't recommend them too much! They are our "go to" when it comes to plumbing problems.

I got estimates from 3 plumbers. During the estimate visit, Phillip Bradshaw told me more of the details about how a hot water heater works so I could understand and decide what to do. He answered my questions completely and was patient with my efforts to save what I could. Blue Duck had no problem with my budget timeline and scheduled my job promptly when I was ready. Phillip arrived on time and completed the repairs in about an hour. I feel confident about the work that was done.

I was given an estimate before he began work. He worked quickly and explained everything to me. I am satisfied with the results and will definitely use Blue Duck Plumbing again.

I used Blue Duck plumbing for several years for plumbing work at a business that I managed, and was always very impressed with the quality of their work and that they were consistently willing to back it up as needed. I value integrity in people and in the businesses that I work with, and it's something they'd repeatedly proven was a core part of their family owned business. Fortunately, I'd never had to use them personally... until late last night when I found my basement drains overflowing with raw sewage. Philip was the one who took my call and was at our house within 30 minutes, which was fantastic because sitting and watching raw sewage slowly filling your basement while you're waiting for a plumber is a little stressful. I appreciated him knowing that while it wasn't an emergency for him, it definitely was for us. Awesome response time. He was thorough in his evaluation of the problem, identified that we needed a part that we'd have to wait until today to pick up, and gave us a temporary resolution to get us through the night. He was back early this morning, got the part installed, and even did a little clean up work for us. He was also very patient in walking us through the problem, explaining the solution and talking through our options, answering our questions, and even making some suggestions on other things we might need to consider (our home is older and newer to us, so a lot of new things to learn). It's nice working with someone that you're confident is truly trying to assess and resolve your problem without the pressure of wondering if they're constantly trying to upsell you. Blue Duck is one of the few companies that I feel complete trust in, and it's clearly a business that takes a lot of pride in their customer service. I appreciate that as they've grown the business over the last few years, it's a standard that they have clearly continued to value.

As always, excellent response time, professionalism and value for work performed. I had a new dishwasher I had purchased but the delivery guys refused to install because my water connector pipe was corroded and needed replaced. Called Blue Duck plumbing and they were able set up an appointment in less than 24 hours. Philip was very polite and knowledgeable and was able to repair my pipe and install my dishwasher perfectly. He cleaned up everything before he left and made sure to wear gloves and a mask and practice social distancing. Blue Duck is our go to plumbing company - highly recommend!

Great couldn’t ask for better service.

Missed the source of the leak and replaced all of the drains, which admittedly needed to be done anyway. Kudos for following up after the leak continued and a really confusing series of calls. A bit pricey, though. Should have taken some off on the return trip.

Exceptional service and skill! We will have this son and father team back as needed for other plumbing issues. They installed the new hot water heater the same day as they came to evaluate the old one! They were very considerate and explained their work to us. Thank you!

Called later in the day yesterday, and John was here first thing this morning. He answered all of my questions, and got to work. When he was done, he cleaned everything up, and answered any other questions i had. I have to get the roots cleaned out of the sewer every year or so, and this is the second time I've had John, from Blue Duck, out to do it. This time it had been two years. He politely reminded me I should be using my root killer every year, so I don't have to do this so often. (I forgot last year) The plumbers I've hired from other companies in the past, would have never even brought up the idea to use the root killer, let alone remind me so I don't have to keep having them come back. I am very happy to have found "Blue Duck Plumbing & Drain Cleaning."
