"Maria and her team did a deep clean of my house before I moved in. She was friendly, professional and very responsive via phone. They went above and beyond and didn't stop working until my home was spotless! Maria takes pride in her work and it shows. Their prices are incredibly reasonable for the work they do. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again."

"It went great. Me. Bland was a real professional and very detailed oriented. He did a great job and contacted me the following day to follow up to ensure we were satisfied with his workmanship. The floor is beautiful and the price of the service was reasonable and affordable. I would definitely use him again."

"I took a chance and used Stone Restoration and Preservation Services based on their reviews. Best decision I made all year. Matt is extremely professional, friendly and most importantly fast, efficient and know how to clean and restore the luster to a variety of stonework. They brought the marble tile in my powder room back to its original luster after being accidentally stripped when my dad tried cleaning it for me with harsh chemicals. My kitchen floor looks like we haven't had numerous 4 legged children for over 20 years, you can actually see the original color of the grout! I highly recommend Matt for your stone care needs!"

"Did not clean the globes on the ceiling fan and did not clwan the stem on the light fixture in the kitchen and did not clean one side of the cabinet in the kitchen. Also, changed the price on me and went up on the price. I was told $120 and for deep cleaning $150. In person i asked how much and i was told $170. Bad business. I was not satisfied."

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

To properly maintain and care for hardwood floors without damaging the finish, establish a regular cleaning routine. Sweep with a broom or microfiber dust mop daily, or vacuum weekly, to remove dirt and debris that can scratch the surface; be sure to clean in tight corners and under furniture. For a deeper clean, use a damp mop with a cleaner specifically designed for hardwood floors, but avoid using harsh chemicals or excessive water, as this can damage the wood. You can further protect your floors by placing mats at entryways to catch dirt and moisture and putting felt pads under furniture legs to prevent scratches. For long-term care, refinish the floors as needed to keep them looking their best.

Clean your vinyl plank floors at least one to two times per week with a broom, vacuum, or microfiber mop. You can save the mopping and disinfecting for your deeper cleans about two to three times a month. Keep in mind that if you find sticky spots, spills, or stains, it's best to take care of them ASAP.

Professionals use various tools and cleaning solutions based on the type of floor they’re cleaning. They often use industrial steam cleaners to pull debris out of the carpet. For localized stains, they may use a commercial cleaner or a mixture of water, vinegar, and dish soap. For tile, they’ll typically use dish soap and hot water, plus a mixture of baking soda and hot water for the grout. For cleaning wood floors, they might use a low-heat steamer, a mop with an oil wood floor cleaner, or a mixture of hot water, vinegar, and lemon juice.

Costs depend on floor type, area size, and additional services like waxing or sealing.

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. For non-wood floors, mix 8 parts warm water, 1 part vinegar, and 1 part baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, use olive oil in that same mixture instead of the vinegar. You can let these solutions air-dry after cleaning your floors with them, although you should manually dry your floors if they aren’t waterproof.
